My wife just had to have a digital camera. She bought an Olympus FE-190 new a few years ago and has since gone back to an Olympus film automatic. With good cause.
The FE_190 shuts on and off constantly. Sometimes, it refuses to come on. The battery drains quickly. It always wants a time date reset. Etc. Etc. Etc. Etc.
If I want something easy to carry, I dig out my wife's old Olympus XA. It still works after 30 years. Black & white negatives from the XA in a cranked up Bessler 23CII enlarger hold their own.
The Olympus FE-190 is a total waste. You can get something much more reliable in an Olympus film point and shoot on E-Bay for $20. As with any cheap, digital, camera film produces far and away better images.
