I HAVE HAD THIS CAMERA FOR OVER 2 YEARS NOW AND CANT FAULT IT. tHIS IS AN ALL ROUND GREAT CAMERA WHICH ALSO TAKES GREAT FILM FOOTAGE , I LIKE THE WAY YOU CAN ANGLE THE SCRREN WHICH WORKS GREAT WHEN TAKING PICTURES OVER THE TOP OF A CROWD. IT IS A LITTLE LARGE IF I HAD TO FIND FAULT BUT THATS ALL.

A very good compromise. Provides excellent results when snapping away on the auto setting and has enough features to keep the knowledgeable enthusiast entertained for hours. It produces excellent pictures and has a very good macro facility. A little on the heavy side to be a pocket camera, use a waist pouch.

With the recent price reductions the Canon PowerShot A640 is the best value and quality of camera you will buy for the money. Use the professional quality SD memory cards for best speed and battery life.

I bought this for use while I'm travelling round the world and impressed by how sturdy it has been after dropping it a few times. Good image quality, price, and the Powershot A640 is easy to use.
