Sony DCR-SR72

The Sony DCR-SR72 looks nice. Happens to be a Sony so build quality is good.. The whole point of a Camcorder is that you want to watch your special moments again and again. This product offers very poor playback quality that it frankly doesn't achieve it's sole aim. Playback video quality is really poor. I was so disappointed, I actually took it back as I thought it had a fault, only to be told it is normal for this model.

I have had sony products in the pass and always been very impressed but this camcorder was the worst product ive ever brought it lacks basic things such as a light and a viewfinder i wish i had gone for the panasonic for the same price these came as standard items i'm having problems trying to find out what accessories are available ie light and an additional viewfinder..

For the price the Sony DCR-SR72 is definetely worth buying especially for a novice.

Im a very novice user and found the Sony DCR-SR72 camcorder very easy to use and to use on pc, i highly recommend it :)

I would NOT recommend the Sony DCR-SR72 to ANYONE to buy this camera IF they want to download the film onto a computer and then burn that onto a DVD. It is VERY DISAPPOINTING and should be avoided at all costs.

The Sony DCR-SR72 is a good quality recording and stills camcorder. It has easy user interface and no removable media with megapixel sensor.
