I Gave This To My 11 Year Old Son For Xmas And He
I gave this to my 11 year old son for xmas and he was thrilled with it. He has made some really great movies using Windows Movie Maker 2. The picture quality is acceptable and the webcam feature is also useful. The downside is the heavy use of batteries we got around this with Nimh rechargables. These are cheap and last ages. The finished movies can be made into DVD's with the included software. The only real drawback is the format the cam uses. It is compressed AVI so needs a bit of tweaking to get the sound quality right, (using Virtual Dub for example). Overall a great cam for the money but don't expect too much.

I Paid Less Than £80 For Mine And It Was Fun
I paid less than £80 for mine and it was fun,and come on where can you get anything that records movie for this sort of money other than 8mm film from the junk shop, but it came without a memory card.....don't bother unless you get one at the same time. The picture quality was fair and the cables all connect up to give you easy download. It came as a complete and simple package which for its size and price can't be beaten. I couldn't get mine to work as a web cam, but I didn't try very hard.
I sent mine back as I want something that is more of a camera than a toy. But in all fairness, the battery problem aside (there's no dc input other than usb) it is what it is and would pass a few hours on a rainy day( or better really on a sunny one for picture quality is poor in low light...no flash!)
Get your kids one and they'll love you, but buy shares in 'dry cells are us'
As an adult you should be able to afford a proper camera and secondly what do you expect an oscar winning camera for £75!

It Is A Small Pocket Camera Which Has A Colour Lcd
It is a small pocket camera which has a colour LCD screen. It uses a flash card so it can hold up to hours of video (with sound), or 30 mins without a flash card. It can also take still photos (with optional high or low resolution) of up to 2 million pixels. The original "Boy's Toy".
I found that the camcorder came back OK when played on the PC. Or via AV connections direct from camera to the TV. But when transferred to DVD the stills were ok but the camcorder moving pic didn't work well.
The lack of a view finder made it impossible to see when in bright sun. Some close up camcorder ok, but not too good when on holidays or different backgrounds. But for price and ideal conditions ok.
yeah ok, but all the info about about the camcorder was wrong, such as the photos are 1.2 megapixels, not 2 megapixels, and the movie mode only lasts for 2 mins, not 30 mins. Still, it's amazing! Go buy it!
I agree it is a super piece of equipment, which also looks very sexy.
