Jvc Gr-dv4000 Takes Good Pictures. Have Used

JVC GR-DV4000 takes good pictures.

Have used it for a few years now and it has been reliable although Heavy on battery use. Bottom loading of film means taking off tripod.

Sound quality not exceptional.

The Jvc Gr-dv4000 Digital Camcorder Is A Decent Ca

The JVC GR-DV4000 digital camcorder is a decent camera, and of good quality. It is also generally very reliable.

It produces very nice quality images with a lot of light.

The lens is wide (52mm), which is an average photography camera size, so it is easy to get hold of any lens adapters that would fit.

It looks very swish in real life, especially with a wide angle adapter (which I use almost all the time on it).

The manual focus ring is very smooth and easy to use.

The LCD screen is large, which is good for seeing what you are doing or showing other people.

It is comfortable to hold. It seems to be especially designed to hold it low down, which is good for skating or sports filming.

The aperture can be adjusted (called exposure on the side).

Nice flick-up flash for taking photos.

Decent quality photos.

Can attach microphone, headphone, light and flash.

There are so many good features.

The battery it comes with does not last very long at all. It is advised to get a big, long-lasting battery. (I got a no name one for £20; they are usually up to £100 for branded ones).

It was very expensive when I bought it in October 2004, which means it wasn't great value for money then, but it is a lot cheaper now.

Overall, it is a very nice camera with great results.

The Jvc Gr-dv4000 Is A Good Camera, Met All My Nee

The JVC GR-DV4000 is a good camera, met all my needs, good, clean, crisp film quality (especially noticed when filming during snowfall). Good add on accessories, (have a fish eye lens, upgraded battery and, hot shoe directional mic). Awesome LCD screen. good for filming skateboarding and such. Not too thrilled with the night vision. But overall, good quality camera, easily upgraded, functions great.

I Purchased This Jvc Grdv4000 Digital Camcorder In

I purchased this JVC GRDV4000 Digital Camcorder in december 2003. There was some problem with this camera in focusing and frequently asking for head cleaning, no sound recording etc.etc. But the supplier replaced the unit with a new one. Now working perfectly without any problem. The VCR switches, USB and Ilink sockets are inside the LCD Window. So when it is connected with cables the LCD will be on. Another drwaback is mic is placed in top of the camera. So sound is not recording perfectly.
