Telescope Service Nevada 10x42

For £100 the Telescope Service Nevada 10x42 are extraordinary value for money. I have compared with much more costly sets and they hold their own.

These Binoculars, which can only be ordered from Telescope Service direct, on-line, are the best £100 I have ever spent on anything. I had a pair of Pentax 10x50s and a pair of Diorits when I got these - they can't get close to the performance of the Nevadas.

In retrospect, I might have gone for the 8x42s but believe me, these are an incredible bargain.

The screw-up eye cups are a bit slack - solved that with two, split rings cut from the top of 35mm film canisters, and used as spacers to hold the eye cups in place.
