The Halina 3000 Is A Wonderful Little 35mm Camera
The Halina 3000 is a wonderful little 35mm camera which defies derisory descriptions of it which I've come across. It turned me from a know-nothing adult beginner into someone who is confident enough to take pictures anywhere. The highest shutter-speed is 1/250, but perusal of books on compact cameras soon show that this can be more than enough for someone willing to learn a few tricks about shooting sports and fast cars etc on a compact type camera, and if you eventually get a camera with a high shutter-speed, you will know what it's for!
I have bought a Halina 3000 from a charity shop today but I can't get it open! Can anyone please help? is there a special knack to it?
Thanks a lot, Jo
A camera that I had forgotten! The Halina 3000 was my first serious 35mm camera, first film through it was Kodachrome 25 (yes ISO 25!) super slides came back and I was hooked on 35mm. A perfect camera for a newbie in the mid 1970s and not a bad way to start in film photography today. Good results straight out of the box.
