Love Them!
I absolutly adore my 'pearl' I have had them now for about 4 and half years, they broke this morning (i cried). Had to get my OH to go to shop for a new pair. They are the only ones i trust with my hair. Never have a bad hair day with these.

Does The Job
This product is alright for what you pay. It does the job. Probably better than most straighteners. However, the one thing I would change with this product, if I could... is the cord. When you try to use this straightener to make a few curls / waves, the cord gets in the way / tangles. Maybe next step is cordless? Or a cord that can turn? I don't know...

Fantastic,
I love these straightners, way better than any GHD (especially the new ones). The look attractive, you can adjust the heat and lock it onto a set heat, the cord is a very generous length, they beep when they've reached the set heat and they come with a FIVE YEAR guarantee (GHD only come with 2).
I have thick, wavy hair that normally takes a good hour to get straight not anymore :). These straighteners glide effortlessly through my hair no catching or pulling.
I cant recommend them enough
And they also come with a metallic gold cooling mat/storage bag

Ghd Envy No More!
These straightners are great!
Bought these with 60% off and was a little reluctant as everyone keeps harping on about GHD's. But the price was far too attractive to ignore!
I got home a straightened my hair immediately and what used to take me a good half hour with my old straighteners took about 15 minutes with these and the results were splendid and lasted all day.
They heat up very quickly and the heat is adjustable. Though I have quite thick hair I have found that I do not need them on the highest setting and about 200 degrees works well for me.
I would definitely recommend these straighteners to those that find the price tag on GHD's a little inflated but do not want to compromise on quality.

First Of All My Hair Type Is Very Thick, Coarse, L
First of all my hair type is VERY thick, coarse, long, wirey and bushy with an uneven wave that has a mind of its own. VERY hard to straighten and a complete nightmare!
My expensive brand straightener decided to die!! after 4 years the ceramic plate degraded in the middle and snagged my hair ripping it to shreds...it was past the warranty so had to buy new. Hubby wouldnt buy another pair of expensive ones so had to research the cheaper alternatives...so glad i did!
I bought this straightener from Argos at £53! BARGAIN! Its stylish and girly-but not too girly!

They were easy to use and didnt get hot on the handle, they also have a little lip at the end so u dont burn your ears etc! lol
My hair was silky shiny and super straight in only 25 mins...half the time it usually takes! All the little snapped sticky out peices on the top of my head dissapeared! and to top it off, i tied my hair up in a bobble when i went to bed, expecting to have to go over it today and there is no bobble kink whatsoever!! still super straight and shiny!
I would say it was just as good as the expensive ones we all compare against!
the only down side i can think of, which isnt really a problem, is for my hair length, i would have liked the plates a little wider for straightening, but then i wouldnt be able to curl as easy with them....so not really a negative i suppose!
