Oz Head ThinkPink Ionic Hair Straightener

I ordered my think pink mk II directly from their website a couple of months ago. Had to call customer service during ordering (due to my lack of experience of buying things online) and they were friendly and helpful which was great. The product is nicely presented, black with white floral detail in a hard black velvet case. The think pink heats up quickly, which is what I really like about this product although the plastic on the outside become very hot making it hard to create curls/waves (not sure if all straighteners have this issue though). I had read many reviews giving the product five stars and saying it was better than a ghd before I bought it and this is what let me down. I think it is a good straightener (much better than my last which was around $50-60) however it does not match up to a ghd/silver bullet other high end brands. It was a bit overpriced, i think it should be at the $100 mark.

I thought that this straightener was absolutely brilliant. It arrived the next day after I had ordered it and came in a really nice jewel case. The straightener heats up actually faster than my old GHD and it also holds the temperature really well. I have quite thick hair, but after using the Ozhead thinkpink my hair was poker straight and stayed that way for the entire day, even when its a bit humid outside.

Its also Aussie, which I prefer. Also it came with a 3 year warranty and a free mini hair straightener which my daughter loves.

Cons: Nothing really. It was cheaper than the GHD and in my opinion even better which I didnt think would be possible.

I also liked the fact that its got a temperature control and can go up to 220 degrees C for those days when my hair is being a bit stubborn.

I would certainly recommend to other people.

I managed to get a hold of a pair of these for my salon Jax Hair & Beauty, and thought, well, Ive used GHD forever and never found a clone that was any good. The rep who came in to see me asked me to try them out. To be honest I was gobsmacked. He told me that the heatup was in 20 seconds, but they were too hot to touch after like 2 seconds and by 5 they were ready to use. I'm FUSSY as anything. I had a client in who was going to a wedding and I swear I did a whole hair of barrel curls with the ThinkPink in about 10 minutes. The rep never got them back, now I am just waiting for them to deliver me some. It looks like they are in demand. They seem to be really well made. The box is really nice, and the instruction manual is very easy to follow with many great tips inside. Also real scientific information on tourmaline I never knew before.
