IF YOU HAVE THICK HAIR [like i do] DO NOT BUY THEM!!!

ive had these a lonng time now [2 years and still working] but it takes a long time to straighten my hair because its thick.

And when my hair is completely finished it lasts of the most half a day!

In General The Look Of The Product Is Nice Top Mar

In general the look of the product is nice top marks there and i thought the ease of use was good, leaving hair straight and shiny. Disappointed at how long it took for the heat to heat up and also didn't retain heat. Ceramic burnt quickly and product only lasted a year - now brough Babyliss pro 230 no comparison which costs the same, after argos discount. Also has a 5 year guarantee. Heats up in less than 30 secs.

I Have Found That The Babyliss Trevor Sorbie Pro S

I have found that the Babyliss Trevor Sorbie Pro Session straighteners are heavy and hard to use. I also find that my hair is damaged because it tends to get caught around the edges of the plates and in the hinge. It also takes forever to get my hair anywhere near straight, and it won't stay straight for any length of time.

Trevor Sorbie 2047 Session Straighteners: I Bought

Trevor Sorbie 2047 Session Straighteners: I bought these straighteners last year, and was impressed with them until I purchased the remington wet to dry straighteners, what a difference. Trevor sorbie straighteners take a long time to heat up and although they went through my hair smoothly, they didnt leave it feeling smooth and quite often my hair felt fizzy. Overall they are ok at taking out the kinks in the hair but thats about all, no silky hair with this product i'm afraid.

I Was Bought Babyliss Trevor Sorbie Straighteners

I was bought BaByliss Trevor Sorbie Straighteners as a Christmas present after seeing the adverts which made them look fab and also because of the Trevor Sorbie name.

However, I find it highly unlikely that any professional salons would use them as they are so slow! They take ages to heat up, then don't even get that hot. They have a good pressure action, but I find that my hair gets caught in the hinge at the bottom. Also sometimes the action isn't very smooth, tugging my hair and leaving it static and flyaway.

Essentially, it doesn't make a very good job of straightening my fine, wavy, long hair, but friends with straight shorter hair have found they worked. I find I have to blow-dry my hair almost straight first anyway to get a good result, meaning it takes ages to do. It doesn't get it completely straight if I have left it to dry naturally and I don't even have very thick curly hair. Then those pesky waves creep back in at the first sign of moisture in the air!

Because they were a present, I have persevered with using them, but after reading helpful reviews on this site I am going to get either the Remington Power Ceramic or GHS as they seem 100% more quick and efficient. Can't choose which though - any advice would be useful :o)

Overall, I was disappointed with this product and wouldn't recommend it.

Babyliss Trevor Sorbie Professional Session Straig

BaByliss Trevor Sorbie Professional Session Straighteners are a waste of money, I have found some on the internet from a site called Coolers Direct. They are called SCP straighteners, solid ceramic, heat up to 200c, only £37.99 and they are great, I'm really pleased with them.

The Babyliss Trevor Sorbie Straightening Irons Are

The Babyliss trevor sorbie straightening irons are not very good. They do not heat up quickly compared to GHD straighteners. You can leave them on for an hour and still not be hot. A waste of money!!

you compare these to GHD. it's a bit unfair like comparing a Daewoo car to a Rolls Royce! Babyliss products are cheap and likewise they aren't very good!
