I Bought The Thin Ones Not Realizing How Thin The
I bought the thin ones not realizing how thin the plate was! My hair didn't really seem to come into contact with the plate as there wasn't much plate to straighten my hair.I have naturally straight hair & use straighteners to get a poker straight look or put some flicks or movement onto my hair but I was forever going over the same piece of hair with these straighteners!!

Its Very Quick To Heat Up And Has A Temperature Up
Its very quick to heat up and has a temperature up to 220 degrees. It doesn't glide over your hair and is quite hard to pull through tangily bits. It is very good value as I got it for 14.99 at Argos and is good for normal straightening but quite hard for frizzy hair - I like it!!!

Babyliss Slim Therma Glass Straightener Heats Up Q
Babyliss Slim Therma Glass Straightener heats up quickly, look quite stylish. It's very good for curly hair and very good for short hair but not so great for long locks. Has very thin plates but they do leave my hair straight but not as straight as it can be. For £20 I can't really complain.

I Got The Babyliss Slim Therma Glass Straighteners
I got the Babyliss Slim Therma Glass straighteners off eBay, brand new. It wasn't until I got them out of the box that I realised how thin they really are. These straighteners would be good for men's or shorter girls styles, but seeing as I have medium length hair, it takes forever to straighten, and even after straightening my hair is not completely straight.
There is a velvet rim around the edge of the glass plates, which is supposedly to prevent damage to my hair, but every time my hair glides past, it makes a horrible noise, as if it is breaking my hair. I have actually noticed my split ends and I have to constantly wipe strands of hair from the plates.
I paid slightly less for these straighteners as they were from eBay and not from any store, but I would still say they were a waste of money. The lowest price I could find from a store was £45, which I wasn't going to pay, so I got them from eBay instead. I'm currently purchasing some GHS straighteners which are like GHD's, but for a much lower price.
Don't waste your money on the Babyliss straighteners!!
