Let Me Begin By Stating Categorically That Everyth

Let me begin by stating categorically that everything manufactured today to shave with is junk. This goes for electric shavers, as well as all wet razors, whether they have three, four, or five blades. It is, however, important for me to be closely shaven every day. Therefore, one has to make do with what's available. After the demise of my Braun Vario-3, I began to shave with a blade - Gillette Mach 3, because I got one for free in a promotion at the university where I work. However, sometimes I'm in a hurry, or there's no more hot water, so that I began to look around for an inexpensive, decent electric shaver for occasional use. I found out that nearly all Braun models are currently manufactured in the People's Republic of China. An ecological expert said in a lecture that these shavers belong in the dump, and not near one's face. I hit upon the Philips HQ 5426 - a simple mains shaver. It doesn't shave as close as a blade, or, for that matter, as close as my defunct Braun, and I have to pass repeatedly over my face to get a decent shave. It is however good enough to use occasionally, and at 34.95 Euros, it wasn't overly expensive.
