Braun Series 3 370 shaver

Been using the trimmer part for couple of years but it eventually stopped working properly so I started using the shaving head instead. What happened next was that while I got a pretty close shave, except for the neck area, I ended up with messed up skin with loads of pimples (that turned big and white and popped in my sleep leaving nastier scars on me face). Looked this up online and found out that it might be cos I haven't used a shaver (or a razor for that matter - I was really just using the trimmer and got away with it for years until it died). It's been 2 weeks now and I still get buttons on my face like it's a calculator!

As for the neck....oh man, that's the reason why I used the trimmer in the first place - when I first got this shaver, I tried it but the neck was soooo hard to shave (near impossible to get a clean shave on the whol neck area) on top of the pimples problem, that I just gave up and used the trimmer instead, which incidentally I find was the best part of this shaver until it gave its last breath after 3-4 solid years of constant use!!

Anyway if you got grizzly hair and sensitive skin, don't bother with this and jog on hairy boy.

Having owned a pretty good Braun razor many years ago, and now in need of a new razor, I bought a Braun 370 in April 2012. I was very disappointed. It was very slow to shave with: it took about 15 minutes of repeatedly going over the same areas, and even then the shave was not close, with stubble clearly visible and feelable. I persisted for a month or so, but eventually gave up and bought a Wahl Ultima 7200. What a contrast: the Wahl gave a quick and very smooth shave. Don't buy the Braun 370!

Now into my second month of usage, this latest model is even better than previous models.I have used Braun shavers for over ten years with great satisfaction, but this model is the definitely the premium model in the Braun shavers series. Quieter than previous models providing a very smooth close shave .Recharges in little time and lasts for 8-9 days with my type of shaving--6/7 minutes per shave.

Great buy.

Will definitely stick to only using Braun shavers now and will recommend this product to everyone.

Bought this Braun series 3 370 3 months ago for a good price of £65 from shavers.co.uk to replace my 2 previous Braun 4776, which were cheaper, but both of which had flimsy whisker trimmers that broke easily. However, I liked the closeness of the shave of the 4776, and decided to stay with Braun, so settled on the new 370 in the hope that it will prove more robust. Early signs are good. The shave is quite close, it holds a good charge - I shave quite slowly, yet it lasts about 9 days, and recharges quickly. The trimmer works well, and I am hoping will prove robust. It comes in a nice hard travel case - why do so many good manufacturers try to sell you a £100 piece of delicate kit in a sock which is useless when travelling? Handy that it can be rinsed under the tap. The floating foils seem ot flex nicely over the contours of my neck. And when I come to replace the foils, hopefully it will feel worth spending over £20 - I was never quite sure if it was worth spending £25 on new foils for a razor that cost £30!
