Discount Office Supplies

Ordered paper via Amazon. Thought the price was very competative but they had listed against the wrong description - sending only 1 (rather expensive) ream vs the 5 as described.

Customer service rather cheekily blamed Amazon for their mistake then promised full refund. That was weeks ago. I emailed them and got a standard response - they clearly did not read my email properly - promising refund again. Subsequent emails have not been replied to and no refunds after 4 weeks. Dreadful.

I tried to order diaries from discount office supplies, and when i tried putting in my card details it came up with card failed, i tried this a few times before trying another card, each time it came up with card failed, so i gave up. When i checked my bank statement they had taken the money off!!!! so after at least 8 phone calls they said they would refund the money, checked my bank again this morning and still no money!!! so i would definately not recommend them!!

They don't package their items properly - I ordered a 5-drawer closed filing system from them, which arrived simply in a box, and was broken. It is unfortunately not a well-made item, and was too fragile to be transported without proper packaging. I phoned up and complained, and received a replacement, which i had to wait in all day for again, and which, again, was broken. So i phoned up, got another one ordered as replacement, tho unfortunately they weren't able to accept the date i gave them for replacement (i'm not home every day) and sent a lorry with a replacement every day until i was in! what a waste of petrol! Third one, again, was broken, smashed down one side. I had told them on the phone that they should properly package this item, but they obviously didn't listen. I was a little fed up by this point, and not around for a replacement for a while. By the time i phoned up for a fourth item, they told me I was outwith the required 10 days I had to complain and refused to replace it again - better to use a company that won't cut costs on packaging!

I first found these guys last year. They have improved the website and it's loads better!

I compare prices regularly, and I shop with Discount Office Supplies often.

I have used Discount Office Supplies a few times now, and I've been very happy with the pricing and service. When I did order the wrong thing, I had a full refund and they were really helpful. I would recommend them!
