Veho VFS-001 5MP Film Negative

The Veho VFS-001 is small and compact but has no drivers for Macintosh computers

Veho VFS-001 5MP Film Negative does work with 64 bit vista the drivers are on the install disk, you are prompted to select the OS when the install runs. Takes 3-4 mins from getting it out the box to doing your first Scan. The slide holder has a very awkward little plastic latch which I have trouble opening.

I also have this dark band that moves across the image, so therefore you have to time pressing the capture button to perfection. Not overly impressed with unit so far but am persevering will post an update

I had a very bad experience with VFS-001 my daughter bought it for me as a Christmas present, I attempted to run it with my 64 bit Vista computer it did not work, so I tried it on an old windows XP system it was very unstable and produced scanned slides with lines all across.

I emailed Veho to the fact that I was having problems with Vista and after many unanswered they finally got back to me and advisede me to try various things like disconnecting all other periferals/ down loading drivers/ clearing all and starting again going into BIOS etc etc etc.

I asked VEHO for a telephone number so I could talk to them direct they ignored my request.

I managed in the end to get my daughters mony back from the supplier.

VEHO have bad customer relations and I would not touch a VEHO with a barge pole.
