For Scanning Multiple Photographs It Is Brilliant.

For scanning multiple photographs it is brilliant. Spread them evenly on the platen and the software picks out the individual snaps and scans them individually. The software will improve the scanned image if required. The negatives scan function works well. The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) function seems to cope well with the articles I have tried. The software which comes with the scanner is easy to use, although you do have to specify whether the object to be scanned is a photograph or a film, and make the changes to the scanner lid to suit. The negative/slide carrier is concealed behind the white plate on the lid when not in use - tidy!

The ease with which it has scanned a load of my old photos has been a revelation and the quality is very good (and is easily adjusted in the software) the quality of the digital image produced from the scanned negatives is better than the original photo!

this cost £62 and is well worth the money. I read a lot of reviews before deciding to buy this one and I agree with the overall view that it is a cracker!
