Sony Xperia Z

Amazing phone to be honest. Since the day I had purchased, never wanted to keep the phone out of my hands. Holding the phone gives a great feel to you. Sound quality is not so good, but nothing goes above the display and its touch smoothness. Camera quality is amazing. Crisp pictures. All my friends loves taking pictures with my phone. I would definitely recommend this.

This phone runs on the Android operating system, meaning that there's over 1 million different apps to choose from, over half of which are free! Aside from this the handset boasts a 13 mega pixel camera, a dual core processor and is 4g ready. Put all this together and you have one of the most powerful smartphones currently on the market. The large screen is ideal for playing media and the touch screen sensitivity is perfect for scrolling through the menu, emailing and texting. What sets this phone apart from every other powerful and sleek smartphone available at the moment is the fact that its waterproof! Not "splash proof", not "water resistant", but water proof! You can literally drop it in a bath, leave it for half an hour, pick it out, wipe it and continue to use as normal! Given the fact that water damage is one of the most common causes for phone damage outside of warranty, this is a great benefit for a phone of such high value and performance!

My one and only bug bare with this handset is its alarm clock. It is annoyingly tricky to switch off, this can cause issues if you, like me get up before others in your household. All in all though, a fantastic handset!

Though I'd better pass on my experience with the Xperia Z and Sony. Please note that I did not buy from this seller.

I had my Xperia Z for only 4 weeks before the screen cracked and rendered the top half useless! Now, more often than not cracked screens are a result of misuse or accidental damage however my Xperia Z screen cracked all on its own.

After researching on the internet I was horrified to find that mine is not an isolated case and there are several hundred if not thousands of users having the same problem!

Sony are refusing that there is any issue with the phone and that it is not covered under warranty. They charge £240 to fix!

Got my xperia a couple of weeks ago, WOW!!! what a great smartphone, super fast, amazing call clarity, stunning screen quality and stunning images with the 13mp camera. Add to that the fact that it is waterproof and dust proof and it would have to be one of the best smartphones available at the current time. No real downside except battery life could be better but its ok for day to day use.

Summary, excellent phone, great features, easy to use

Stunning camera, great screen. Does everything you expect it to. Battery life is good, last me a day with normal use, heavy use needs a 5-10 minute evening boost.

Only thing i dont like is black wasted space at the bottom. They could of cut that and made the phone smaller.

But other than that great buy, especially cause it was free on a £25 pm contract (24 months)

Just got my xperia z last week I got it in purple and I love it the first thing I have to comment on is the camera it is brilliant if I were to compare it to my last phone the Samsung galaxy s2 it is 100 times better stunning quality I love android phones it has google play store which has the best apps it is fast has a quad core processor and is fully HD the xperia z is simple to use it It is water proof and dust proof which to me is a blessing as my last phone died due to a spillage of baby milk as it is a big phone you expect the battery to use quite quick with a lot of use on the net and app store I charge in the evening it is also quick to charge it has a stamina mode to stop things in the background when not in use there is so much to this phone and a lot more for me to discover it is amazing
