I only bought my Sony Ericsson Txt last year. I thought 'a blackberry clone with an easier to use directional pad is perfect for me!' and that was pretty much all i got, except without the 'Smart phone' status as this phone appears to have about the same internal workings as the Nokia 3410. This didn't worry me though as i just needed something that can call people and be used to text easily.

After about a month or so in to using it the phones online compatibility seemed to shut off completely and has blocked me out of Youtube, Facebook and the like since. I also noticed that its capacity to store messages is extremely small and can only handle between 500 and 600 texts at a time before you have to delete them. It has a conversations layout which is useful as you can delete a whole conversation at once or if you prefer you can use it the old fashioned way. However once i started deleting the messages in larger numbers (such as clearing the inbox) it seems to have some trouble and turns itself off.

This didn't seem so bad until the phone aged a couple more months after which it seems to take roughly 6-8 hours to turn back on. 'Okay' i thought 'I just won't delete them all at once' but the Txt had other plans. After a couple of days 'resetting' now it will take it upon itself to turn itself off and on again when i'm not even using it! I could be expecting a call and turn to my phone to find it off and not usable for another 6 hours!

As for other aspects the camera is awful and has a zoom of xnothing, unless you change the quality to 1mp which allows you to go in a couple of times. The customization is minimal too and the applications installed already are useful but poor to control.

Overall i would suggest saving your money and buying something cheaper for the same standard quality. This one was £100 when i bought it though i would expect it to cost about £20.
