Actually, if you want to taste a bit of the smartphone experience,

then trying this phone would not be bad. But i'm sure that you will be fed up with this phone sooner or later. It's not the phone to use for a long time.

First of all, the overall speed of the operating system is awful. You have to be really patient if you are going to use this phone everyday.

Secondly, it freezes frequently and it annoys me a lot. Whenever I try to do some web surfing or check weather forecasts, it freezes. It's just like magic! When I need this phone desperately, it just stops working. How amazing!

Actually, the worst thing is this. This handset cannot get signal well.

I don't know why exactly, but It fails to get signal even when I'm not indoor. I cannot make a call, I cannot get a call, I cannot even send a message properly with this so-called smartphone which is surprisingly foolish.

However, if you really want some experience with a smartphone even though you don't have a big enough budget, then this Galaxy Mini can be your choice. Anyway, you can experience a bit of Android OS! But remember, it's not a proper smartphone. It pretends to be a smartphone but it's a model made for low-budget customers, so there are a lot of defects in it. If you are looking for something reliable and worthwhile, then just look for other phones.

I found the phone very easy to use, except for getting my hotmail email contacts on it - eventually I found that I needed to create a Googlemail email account, then on my laptop, from Hotmail, I exported the Hotmail contacts to a csv file, then from Googlemail imported the csv file to Googlemail. Googlemail then synchronised the contacts to Hotmail on the phone (why doesn't it just synchronise the Hotmail list on my laptop with Hotmail on my phone?).

As for my phone contacts, I had to manually enter them all - however, next time it will be easier because the phone allows you to export the phone and email contacts to a vcf file on the SD card. Just stick the SD card in your new phone and import the contacts.

The charger is a universal mini USB socket charger which fits all new phones and it's only £3 on Amazon(post free) so I bought a spare to keep at work - this is because battery life is very poor (depending on use), but I am having to recharge it every day. However, it's a handy charger because it also charges my Kindle.

Overall I'm very happy with it but it's a shame about the battery life - still for £10 a month (Tesco Mobile) I can't complain.

this is the worst phone i have EVER had!! and i have had some pretty rubbish phones!!! i got this because i heard android was a good phone , but this is NOT the right android phone if your gonna get one!!!

I get NO internet

Battery life is TERRIBLE

i cant even put music on there!!!!

The reason I have gave this an overall 1 out of 5 is simple .As a phone it is terrible .It is almost impossible to end a call, the screen regularky goes black while phoning to save power however this means the end call button disappears from the touchscreen so it can take 1min to get it back to hang up .

On voicemail the keypad makes it impossible to operate or hang up .

There is no way to hang up quick this phone is A BAD JOKE
