It's A Fantastic Phone. 1) It Has Adobe Pdf
It's a fantastic phone.
1) it has adobe pdf reader (check blackberry, check nokia n series)
2) it has a keyboard (see iphone, samsung galaxy - I beat anyone typing on the keypad)
3) the browser is EASY to use. (see blackberry)
Some minor scratches on the screen after it skidded across a gravel patio (my fault) but other than that NOTHING has broken and it has pretty much performed just as well as any other phone I've owned
I'm very taken by this phone, and with straight talk's unlimited plan it seems too good to be true. There are however two things that bother me, maybe you can help me out here; The wifi, is it as restricted as the browser is? I mean, I know that you won't be able to stream anything, or watch tubes, but is the same relevant to when I'm connected to my wireless network at home? This would be a deal breaker.

The E71 Is A Great Business Phone. What I Need Are
The e71 is a great business phone. What I need are:
1) Good radio reception. I hate dropped calls or bad sound quality
2) Good email support (both Exchange and webmail)
3) Long battery life. Its useless with a flat battery!
The e71 is great at all 3. I thought I lived in a poor reception area as my last phone was frequently dropping or missing calls (it was an htc phone). As soon as I started using the e71, I hardly ever had a problem.
I use my e71 for work email a lot. The company has MS Exchange servers, and the e71 integrates very well. As well as downloading the emails, I can also access the company address book when I need to send an email to someone not in my phone's contact list. One small problem is that if you read the email on the phone, it will be marked as "read" when you next do email on a PC. There is no option to "mark as unread" for emails you'd like to look at again when you get to your desk.
The battery is amazing, I can usually get 24 hours between charges without any problem, and 3 days is possible (but I wouldn't go on a 3 day business trip without a charger, just in case).
The WiFi support is good, and there is a reasonable app market. I have downloaded and frequently use a Google search app, Opera web browser, Nimbuzz chat client and Texas hold'em Poker game for long flights!
It is very slim, so easily fits in a suit pocket. The free for life SatNav is great too.
The negatives are:
1) small screen compared to more modern "touch screen" phones, but that's the price you pay for a real keyboard.
2) the fonts for email are larger than on a blackberry, so you have to scroll a lot to read an email
3) the headset socket is a non-standard size, so using it as a mp3 player is less than perfect as the choice of headsets is limited.

If You Have The Misfortune Of Getting The Version
If you have the misfortune of getting the version of the E71 supplied by Three, it has access to the 2G network blocked. So when outwith an area of 3G coverage, the phone wont work.
It will burn through the battery and heat up its rear metal panel trying to find a signal that is not there and if spending time out of 3G areas the battery can flatten in under eight hours.
You can still make calls if you take an unlocked 2G phone with you, as this means shoving the sim in it can work on 2G. But its crazy Three block 2G access just to save paying other providers to carry your calls, at the price of leaving you with a phone that is useless in many places even phones costing a tenner can cover.

I'd Suggest You Go For The E71. After All, What Go
I'd suggest you go for the E71. After all, what good is a "business" phone without a QWERTY? I've been using it for six months, and it hasn't given me any sort of problems. The phone looks stunning (pictures don't do it justice; you'd have to see for real), it's solidly built, it comes packed with virtually every connectivity option, the QWERTY is really good, the battery life is great, in-call sound quality is excellent, and it works great as an e-mail device. The downside is the absolutely crappy camera and, for some, the size of the screen (it's okay for me, though), but if you can live with that, I'm sure you wouldn't regret buying it.

I Love This This Phone!! Looks Great In Steel
I love this this phone!!
Looks great in Steel and white,Easy to use and has great funtionality.
Camrea is 3mp but is very poor in low light even with the flash on.
The Music play is good, I expanded he memory to 4GB and have room for plenty of music.
The Radio is handy too, but there is an internet radio App thats absoluty brilliant, with 100's of station to choose from.
I took the phone out on contract with three. I only get an intermitent signal so I can rarley make calls from my have and using the 3G is a no.
The E71 is a great phone and would recomended it to anyone that needs to email - its a change from a blackberry.

I Have Seen A Review Of This Phone First At Cnet A
I have seen a review of this phone first at CNET and I think it was an amazing phone with good features under the hood. The QWERTY pad I think was a bit like blackberry phone but I guess they look comfortable.
My cousin bought this phone and she was quite happy with it. I've used it for a while and was impressed with its features and overall functionality.
The only downside is its price however, knowing Nokia, I guess its normal

This Is, By Leaps And Bounds, The Best Smartphone
This is, by leaps and bounds, the best smartphone I have owned to date. The display is bright and large, battery live is excellent and the full QWERTY keyboard is a double-whammy as it does away with the multiple button pushing of old and predictive text is a thing of the past!
Upon viewing the E71 appears larger than most other phones as a result of the 39 buttons required for writing texts/emails, but the added width is in fact minimal, and not noticeable when it's in your pocket. Also although the letters keys may not be as big as those on the E75, making mistakes is uncommon and it is easy to distinguish between keys. The only downside is the numbers are also combined with the QWERTY layout and as a result of the spacebar taking up would would be the star, hash and 0 keys, they are aligned vertically on the right, something which is rectified on the E75 due to the slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The user interface is as simple and easy as any Nokia and the 10 customisable shortcut keys only add to its ease of use.
This phone features a GPS with is surprisingly accurate and not too sluggish to load, although if you choose to display things in satellite mode, expect a long wait for the images to appear, even if you're connected through a wireless router. In all the other viewing modes however loading is efficient.
The 3.2 megapixel camera is a bit second rate as far as pixel count and having an LED flash as opposed to a Xenon one is concerned, but does produce clear pictures and videos are very smooth upon playback.
The loudspeaker on the phone is clear enough for me to hear through my helmet when I'm off my motorbike, but disappointingly the headphone input is a primitive 2.5mm, whereas the E75 features a much more universal 3.5mm one.
All in all the Nokia E71 is a great phone, with sleek looks and features to boot. Certainly a phone to check out if you're looking to upgrade.

The Nokia E71 Keys Are Very Small, And Number Keys
The Nokia E71 keys are very small, and number keys are not separate. while writing a message, each time you need to type a number we have to press shift key.poor grip so easy to slip from your hand.
