LG Optimus L3

This phone has a great battery life, very responsive screen, and is pretty powerful for games and other intensive programs. The size is pretty nice, not as big as the high end phones, but kind of in the middle, which is nice for the price you can get it at. The only problem I've had with it was once it got stuck into a operating system loading loop, but I was able to do a hard reset, more of an Android issue than the phone though. Sometimes the battery area gets noticeably warm if you are really using the phone, such as gaming or benchmarking.
