I checked this Unlock Telcom website to unlock my nokia 6600, which was on their unlockable mobile list, without any specifications mentioned. But after paying the fee, the emailed back as said nokia 6600 slide was not on their list. I emailed them back saying that for other models they have specified which exact model, but this wasn't the case for nokia 6600 and asked for refund. But they refused the refund and instead wanted to send me a sim card, which I didn't need. So I lost my money.

Like many others I haven,t as yet received the unlocking service or any response from the company.. So they have £4.99 for doing nothing other than taking the money !!!

I paid for an unlocking code from Unlock Telcom for a Sony Ericcson on 22 Dec, 08. Up to this day, I have not received the code and their website is even down. I've found them not return emails and as yet have not received the code.

It seems my experience was very different from all the previous posters.

Ordered a code for a phone not on their list by accident. But then paid the difference to unlock a more expensive phone, and received working code with 24 hours. Also answered all of my questions before I forked out the extra cash, as there are so many scammers about I had to double check.

Looks like I may have been lucky. This was Nov 08.

Stay away from Unlock telecom. co.uk, they took my money through paypal and I was told to wait for around two hours only told that they can't unlock my mobile nor refund the money.

This is the second time i used these people i should of known both times i wanted an unlock code and both times advertised they did it but what a shock when it came to it they no longer did my phone but i could have a sim if i wanted cheeky or what. What a good way to make money the reason it takes so long to get to you is because they are writing new terms up.

They advertised that they could unlock my phone, however later mailed me to say that they did not as yet have an unlock code. However I could buy a sim form them or wait for the unlock code to be released as far as I am aware? I waited for this code and now notice that they want another £30! Do not appear to be a reputable company from my experience.

I do not recommend to use Unlock Telcom, I paid Unlock Telecom through Paypal for three unlock codes for different phones, which I never received.No reply to e-mails, phone number seems to be non existent, finally paypal saw in my favour and refunded my money.

Unlock Telcom have not yet sent me a code and in my opinion ignored my emails. I do not recommend this Mobile Phone Unlocking Service..

Having given me a price to unlock my phone by model number after half an hour they informed me that my model was not one they could unlock - the fact they already quoted a price to do something they were in fact unable to supply suggests that this is a total waste of time.
