I just entered my phone model and my IMEI code

Paid the £14.99 fee (Which does seem a little steep!)via paypal so it's secure.

And within 20 minutes I received my unlock code!

I purchased an unlocking code from Mobile Unlock UK for a (French) Samsung F490 Player.

The code works perfectly right. Ordered in the night (11pm) and received the next morning (by 10am).

I also got a fast reply from the customer service before ordering (shortly before 11pm) while asking them for the delay between the order and and the code delivery.

The only unclear thing is the FAQ explanation on how to use proceed, which was not accurate for a Samsung F490 (the code was right, though). Therefore see the tip given below.

TIP: For a Samsung F490 locked on Orange (France), you just have to enter the 8-digit NCK code when the mobile displays "Incorrect SIM" after you've entered your PIN and prompts for it (there is no hash or star key available anyway) so you can't do as described in the FAQ.

Although the service is of good quality, £14.99 is somewhat expensive in my opinion.

The process was very straightforward. I was more confident when I saw I could pay via PayPal as I know if anything went wrong PayPal would deal with refunding my money.

I would definately recommend the service to my family and friends, the only problem I have is the cost.......why so much,is my valid question?

Just so you know - I didn't try any of the other unlock sites! My advice: Read before you buy, some sites are too good to be true.

Brilliant. I was nervous about unlocking my Samsung Genio Slide as other sites offering codes said that codes were not available for the phone when locked to the Tesco network. Having read the reviews on this site I decided to take a gamble on unlocksamsung.co.uk and am pleased to say the code arrived within 24 hours, with clear instructions and it worked first time. The total process took me 5 minutes to order and 5 minutes to unlock. There may be cheaper sites out there, but this one is definately recommended. They do more than just Samsung handsets too, so I'll recommend to friends with other handsets.

What can I say? It simply worked 1st time. No problems. I was terrified of paying for this service online, but found some reviews online that testified to the legitimacy of the service, so gave it a go. Great that you can pay safely via paypal too, so don't have to give any personal details. Paypal payment verified immediately as being legitimate. Thumbs up from me.

Good quick service and response, given all the unlock codes that I could of needed. The link to a guide to unlock my phone made it even easier to get it done, phone was unlocked in minutes and now i can use any network and can unlock my phone if i input the wrong codes accidently :)
