Sony Ericsson Satio

Had my satio for just over a year all in all very pleased with it only a few issues the software can just slow down or hang up also the phone for some reason can be hard to switch back on when the battery has run out and the battery life is not to great from fully charged with general use i get 2 days MAX and in the summer i find it a bit bulky for my pockets OK in the winter i can put it in a coat pocket just the summer!

However the phone has never let me down great reception nearly everywhere nice and load also clear the camera (Which i brought it for) is fantastic 12mp is just excellent always clear pics !

The apps available are nowhere near iphone standards but good all the same ! playing games on it is great due to the large screen

All in all a good phone if you don't mind the size!

the sony ericsson satio is amazing i have had it for 2 months now. before i got it i had read reviews that its laggy and keeps freezing so when i got it i updated it straight away and i am pleased to say THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED TO ME THIS PHONE HAS NEVER FROZEN ON ME. the new update has sorted everything out and the touch screen always responds to my touch. the satio is so much better than the I phone and so much easier to use. the satio has also got plenty of apps and games. i have got about 80 apps and games on my satio just look around and you will find plenty. the camera is absolutely amazing just don't play with the settings if you don't know what you are doing as there is so many and obviously can affect quality. i also like the fact that you can download and watch full movies that you can get from SONY ERICSSONS PLAY NOW although you don't get this app with T-MOBILE you can still do it through your computer and transfer it to the phone. overall this phone is excellent and one of the best at the minute i would be lost without this phone now. i would 100% recommend this phone to anyone just make sure you update it and you wont get any problems

At Christmas I was given a Sony Ericsson Satio, the NEW Sony touch screen. It was beautiful, but so full of bugs, this phone has brought me nothing but troubles. In the 2 months I've owned it, I've had to get it fixed 3 times, that's too much for a new phone.

It also has been unable to connect for any length of time to local internet hot spots (my gf's phone can, mine can't). The GPS I still haven't figured out and I'm not "supposed" to touch too fast because it will freeze the phone. I'm sorry, but for $800USD, I should be able to touch as fast as I want.

Plus, two days ago I　dropped the phone from a 1/2 foot off the ground and now the calibration is all screwed up. For that much money, this thing needs to be about to take at least a little punishment.

And to top it off, the lack of service has been really frustrating. I've emailed Sony twice and called once and didn't get any answers.

The one saving grace is the amazing camera on the phone. It's spectacular!

Overall, this phone would be fun if all these problems were magically gone. I used to own a W995 and it was great, but this Sony is not at all worth the money.

It may be pricey but the Satio is worth every penny, i have loved using this phone over the past month and i think it is a real star.

I got mine sim free from http://ww.shop.co.uk and i was a bit worried after hearing some units where recalled but my Satio has been perfect, no trouble at all.

It looks really stylish, touch screen controls and menu look and work really well and the music playback as to be expected on any Sony Ericsson phone is superb.

It doesn't look as strong as other touch screen from Nokia but i have sadly dropped mine on a few occasions and everything is still working the same and the Satio feels really comfortable to hold and use.

As a phone it's excellent, signal has always been strong and clear and never had any issues on O2.

If i had any bad points i would love for a longer battery, i think the range of features mean that you will be constantly using the Satio and like any phone the more you use it the quicker that battery dies.

All in all it deserves a 4/5 and is ideal for anyone who can't or doesn't want an iPhone

recently bought this phone from car phone warehouse was very impressed with the camera outstanding quality! pretty good touch screen too, battery wasnt great needed charging regular but depends how long you play on it!! bad points kept freezing on me was sick of it in the end and had to exchange for something else as there is a problem with the software on this phone, was gutted as i loved the camera on it it was crystal clear.

get this phone i am absoloutly loving every second of it it is awesooooome!!!

the camera kicks ass the sound is really really good and the screen is great for watching movies on!!

im even using using it as my sat-nav now and it packs in my tom-tom

ha-ha to ezra sassoon for thinkin the w995 is better.

nt vry gd battrey life bulky and the camre is very overated an touchscreen is vry poor quality indeed speakers are okay but nothing compared to thee w995 for the price i wud nt recomend it

i absoloutly hate it, touch screen is rubbish, battery was gone after a couple of hours and tthe new operating system freezes up every now and again !!

warning! do not buy this phone it will just cause you greif!!

awesome!!!!! quite bulky battery life not brilliant and touch screen doesnt respond so well at times but its features definetly make up for it, the camera is truly amazing and sound quality kicks ass!!! i would definetly recomend this to anyone who is looking for a fun phone!
