The Sony J5 is great, many functions, good price, great performance. One bad point is what I found, that's low battery performance.

My Sony J5 Was A Replacement By Orange After Havin

My Sony J5 was a replacement by orange after having my previous phone stolen. When I first got it, I thought is was fantastic as it was so light and very stylish - especially with the new jog dial. After six months things started to go wrong. My phone's memory randomly scrambled erasing dates and alarms and even hiding some of my contacts from the phonebook. I can only put this down to lack of shielding from the battery on the chip set.

The jog dial hardly works now, 2yrs down the line. It doesn't answer calls when using the answer button, and when on vibrate it still rings.

To much money has been invested on the lcd and not enough on making the phone robust for everyday users.

The Sony J5, Well What Can I Say, It's Definatly A

The Sony J5, well what can i say, it's definatly a looker with stylish curves and a great fun to use jog dial. The menu screen is different and interesting. Brilliant reception and generally a neat little package.

It Is The Most Unreliable Phone You Can Hope To Ow

It is the most unreliable phone you can hope to own. You hear how beleaguered the mobile phone industry is - well this about sums it up.

How to get people to buy new phones when they already have one:

1) Make them think they're 'phone is unfashionable using blanket advertising

2) Make a 'phone that is so shoddily built that is will barely last beyond the warranty.

This phone sucks and as a result I will never buy a Sony again.

The Sony J5 Is A Good Phone, Good Features, Shame

The Sony J5 is a good phone, good features, shame about the low volume on the speaker and mine breaking and rendering the phone useless. Every call is now missed!

The Sony J5 Is A Light, Smart Looking Mobile Phone

The Sony J5 is a light, smart looking mobile phone and the navigation wheel is something I'll miss. On the negative side you can't hear a thing when there's background noise, it's particularly bad when it's windy. The vibration is a non-event. The buttons are too small and restrictive when typing fast. I hoped the record option for ring tones would be more impressive too but a lack of volume and the poor quality make it unusable. And finally it's maybe just my phone, but it also has a nasty habit of not indicating new answerphone messages and switching itself without warning!

The Sony J5 Mobile Phone Is A Lot Better Than My O

The Sony J5 mobile phone is a lot better than my old phone (motorola V2288e) which I got rid of to my Dad. It's great for Computer people who can't stand the way to use Nokia phones, I just never liked them cos the menus seem so illogically organised. The only real problem has been my battery as it seems to be dying? Anybody got a new battery lying around?
