The Siemens M65 Mobile Phone Is Supposed To Be Spl
The Siemens M65 mobile phone is supposed to be splash proof, but if you get one drop of water in it the warranty is void! There might be some metal around the sides, but the plastic around the keyboard is very weak and it breaks easily.
Send it in under warranty and it comes back in a worse state. Very disappointing.

The Siemens M65 Continues The Siemens Theme Of Dur
The Siemens M65 continues the Siemens theme of durable phones designed for tough use. However, those expecting another ME45 may be disappointed, the ME45 felt like it was made from a solid block of high grade plastic, the M65 still feels less so. That's not to say it feels flimsy, it is still far superior to normal phones. It's quite large (by today's standards), but this makes it easy to handle (no tiny keys), and less likely to be dropped in the first place. The colour display large screen is very good, even the camera is decent, even though it is only 1.3 mega-pixels. The software is pretty good. The ring tones can be set very loud. I have heard of complaints about the battery life, but I have not noticed it being that bad. If you remember to fully discharge it from time to time. The built in handsfree speaker is good. The only real fault is the sound recorder. On the ME45 you could record the phone conversation, ideal for taking numbers, addresses, and other details etc... You cannot do this on the M65. Siemens say this is due to new regulations in the freedom of information Act. Sounds a bit far fetched, but then again? My Sony K500i could record phone conversations. I wonder if the new K750i still can. The loss of this feature is a serious problem for me, as it means carrying pen and paper everywhere, not always easy with my type of job. If you don't need this feature and want a tough phone, your pretty limited. Only the Nokia, I think the 5510 is toughened. The M65 is also rather pricey.

The M65 Is Fantastic, I Had A Sl65 Before This Pho
The M65 is fantastic, I had a SL65 before this phone for 3 months and the SL65 was a joke. The M65 does what it says it does, nothing fancy, just a solid working phone, which can accept a few knocks and bangs along the way. If you are looking for a phone, that does the job well. The M65 is for you. I hope that when Siemens bring in the next model to replace this, that they include Bluetooth.

Made As Successor Of The Legendary Strong And Capa
Made as successor of the legendary strong and capable ME45, M65 really has done a good job on performing role of a tough, capable, multimedia, and basic office mobile.
It has an auto nightmode VGA Camera (photo taken with it can be seen fullscreen on the display), but don't expect it can record on total darkness.
It has 1000 addressbook slots, each with it's own 14 slots to fill (first and last names, mobile phone, home, and office numbers, ICQ number, address, etc).
It's memory acts like that in windows, you can put anything anywhere (provided it fits in memory)

I Love The Siemens M65, Its A Bit Bulky, A Bit Bug
I love the Siemens M65, its a bit bulky, a bit buggy and glitchy, but basic functionality is perfect, sound and reception. I like that it has very long call lists so you can re-call a number you called 4 weeks ago - you don't have to look it up again. SMS function is great, the phone will devide large messages into multiple messages for you automatically.
I have downloaded some great ringtones to it and I make my own wallpapers for it, plus there are tons to download at club Siemens dot com.
I have not done any web browsing or MMS. My friends don't have MMS so there's no point right now. I lost the little rubber thingy that protects the power/connect jack and I wish it was easy to get more.
Basically, I love the phone.

Quirky menu which is visually pleasing. fast loading games.
Overall a featured back phone which will last the tests of time.

I Recently Bought A Siemens M65 And Overall It Is
I recently bought a Siemens M65 and overall it is a good phone, it's simple to use, has excellent camera quality. There was only a few things I found wrong with this phone, I would send a text message and the display on the screen would just fade away. Sometimes the phone would crash, I would be browsing through the phones menus and it would freeze, and the only way I found to unfreeze it would be to take the battery out.

What Can I Say ? This Siemens M65 Mobile Phones Ro
What can i say ? This Siemens M65 mobile phones rocks in what it does. You have 1000 spaces for contacts and 10MB of space to use as you want...you even can use it as flash disk, you can send a word document and at home you connect via USB/IRDA and trasnfer the file to you PC. The colors are vivid and under the sun, screen is well read. The main menus are icons and in submenus is like all siemens. Camera can do 600*480 resolution and pictures are quite good. Battery, for me, holds for 4 entire days and charging time is about 2 hours. It has Java MIDP 2.0 and games/aplications start very fast. Also you can read HTML pages to a maximum of 526Kb of page size. The best of this phone is the protection. It gives you a good robust feeling without any annoying skirks. The software is a little slow sometimes but never freezes and keeps "rockin". Overal a VERY VERY good phone. If videos were like 3660 i could consider M65 the best in relationship between price/functions.
