Samsung J700

brilliant phone for the price, has everything I want and I use it as my main business phone. I love the block list which blocks unwanted calls and texts.

Hate this phone, its the worst phone i have ever owned! It runs really slow for me, i got nothing on the phone and the memory is not full, you can't put earphones in unless you get the special plug in ones for the phone, the screen is too small to see anything, everything is blurry..In my opinion this is Samsung's worst ever make! They should be ashamed! The charger don't even fit in the phone, and once i got the charger in i thought i had broke the phone coz i coulden't get the charger back out! It's really hard to text with and the camera is not even worth having. Altogether a total waste of money!

I loved this phone! It was really easy to get used to and generally easy to use. It is quite stylish and great for texting. The camera is only 1.3 mega-pixels but if you weren't told you would probably think it was higher. I have had this phone for 2 years and it has only just died. But I did drop it a lot and got sand in it and it has been knocked into water a few times and it still worked. The screen is very durable and the back never falls off like it does on other phones when you drop them. The internet connection is good, but the screen is quite small so it can be hard to read small print off websites. It has a simple menu layout and you can record videos or voice recordings. It is very easy to set up a text or SMS, but it can only hold 400 messages so unless you delete your texts regularly it can get a bit annoying. Also gallery doesn't have that much space. You can have around 60 photos and 1 video, but no music or around 10 photos and 2 musics and no videos.I would suggest buying a memory card if you want to store more data. The settings are quite simple to use apart from when I wanted to transfer my contacts to my sim it kept asking for a code and I don't have a code. It has asked for a code other times again, but I was never given one. Also you may want to buy it unlocked because if you put a sim card from a different network in it locks and you have to send it off to get it fixed. Apart from that it is a really good phone! I would defiantly recommend it to anyone!! Hope this helps :) xxx

I received the Samsung J700 mobile phone on Tesco Mobile for Christmas 2009. In this review I'm going to tell you what I think of it.

For a start the design looks very good. This makes the phone look like it's worth more than it costs. This gives a good first impression. Also good is the screen resolution which looks very good. The 1.3MP camera takes the best 1.3MP images I've ever seen! The battery life is extremely long in standby which is perfect if you're not always near a plug socket. Call quality is impressive too!

This phone also has some bad points. It seems to loose reception randomly and then find it again. Also the supplied headphones are poor quality and a bad fit. They can't be replaced either because of the sub-standard jack! The music player can't be run in the background which is a pain.

So, overall I would say that the Samsung J700 is an ok phone in some areas like Battery life, camera and design but it has some drawbacks like sound quality, reception and the lack of multitasking with the music player. I would recommend the J700 as a budget phone if you're not worried about features but if you're looking for features or reliability I would look elsewhere.

i think that this phone is very useful for a first phone. after a year i have become bored of it but i would still hapily recomend this product to others as it is easy to use and is small and tidy! This phone cost me £30, which is very reasonable as it has bluetooth, a camera, internet and good ringtones! as i said for a first time "phone user" it is high quality not only is it easy to use but it has an easy set up menu aswell. The screen can often become slightly blured, but only if damp, and there are not many "exciting" features but overall I have enjoyed having this phone but would not go back to it again! x

I hope style isn't the main factor in your decision. It is cheap and tacky, the layout is corrosive to the eye. Coverage is aweful, texting feels slow and tedious; and the texting layout is horrible. The camera is redundant and the memory is poor. And I don't want to buy a micro SD card, because it deserves a better phone. If you want a phone to do more than the most primative of services, stay away!!

I think this is a really good phone because it has good looking and it is a al right phone that has good looking but it doesn't have good battery life the screen is okay but It get smudges easily it don't cost that much but I would say its a good phone it don't have that much features but at least it has good looking. and I would recommend to a friend because they would by it cause it is a nice phone it has nice style has good looking but it dont have that much battery life but dosent matter.

I think this Samsung J700 phone is ok the good thing about is it is compatible average camera quality sleek after a while though it can have scratches and dents on it .i would not recomend this phone to a friend because it can get damaged the games are not that good because there are no instrunctions on how to play some games.another good thing about it is the is the menu is clear but sometimes the features on the phone do not some times work .he screen as well in sunlight is very no clear you have to wipe the screen because because of the sun.

Samsung J700 is a great phone, its just what i wanted because it can take memory cards but cant play games .i would recommend it to family and friends .i like the fact that you can unlock but the bad thing again is u cant always get a signal so thats a down side.

i couldnt play games it said too much memory .

the camera isnt great .i would of liked to know about the games and the camera.

but i have got use out of it .

volume was great .

i cant say much but good phone . get it in different colours which was good

Within three weeks Samsung J700 screen broke despite no misuse on my part. Can't get a refund. Waste of money!
