The Nokia N-gage Qd Mobile Is For All Who Loves Ga

The Nokia N-Gage QD mobile is for all who loves gaming and mobile in one. It has a great gaming body shape and bluetooth. I also like the 3d games and s60 running version. You can also do bluetooth multiplayer gaming on this handset.

During A Shift At My Job As A Games Sales Assistan

During a shift at my job as a games sales assistant, my manager happened to notice me texting a friend on my Nokia N-Gage QD. "Do you actually use that as your mobile phone?" he asked me. "Yes I replied", to which he answered "Oh! Cool! I'm impressed."

Yes, someone out there does understand that the N-Gage is not what most would call a 'temporary fad', but can indeed function as a fairly decent mobile telephone as well as hand held games console.

I had been looking for one of these beauties for a while, out of sheer curiosity. I managed to pick up the Nokia N-Gage QD for a mere £20, relieved that I may actually be able to call someone without feeling like a stuffed turkey or similar.

Seven months on and I can say I'm still happy with this phone. Games I own include Tony Hawks, Tomb Raider, Pocket Kingdom, Fifa, Super Monkeyball, Sonic, Rayman, Colin McRae Rally and The Sims. Some games are better than others, but that's another story.

Some of the best points about this phone are, in my opinion, battery life and extras. Manual discounting is something I do a lot of at work, so having the calculator to hand is very nifty. The Screenshot option is a nice extra too, and I like the fact I have the option of a loudspeaker during a call.

The one major downside to the gaming-style keypad is one-handed texting. I am an avid texter, but as I expected, I have gotten used to it, and most of the time I don't think about it any more. To some though, it would be a little bit of an annoyance, quite understandably.

The lack of camera is disappointing, but I wouldn't have expected one considering it was released as a gaming phone, not a camera phone, and also would have driven the price up and made the design more bulky.

Overall, I would recommend this device as it can be picked up rather cheaply. I now have a SE k800i, but something is making me delay the SIM switchover for the moment..........I must be in love.

I Love The N-gage Qd Because It Is A Proper Multim

I love the N-Gage QD because it is a proper multimedia phone. It accepts 1GB MMC cards, and plays loads of movies, games and songs. It has a stunning battery life and, good picture quality, but NO CAMERA, but I am buying a bluetooth camera for it.

A must buy for multimedia.

* A MMC card or a Bluetooth dongle are the ONLY two ways (beside downloading) of install applications on the phone. Whithout one of them you won't feel the value of the QD;

* I also played (and talked) on a N-Gage (first one) and the handling is much better in this one (especially the fact that you speak normally, unlike in the first one where you kept the phone perpendicularly to the ear);

* The screen is excellent. You could say it has a 16bit color depth;

* Sturdy made. It has a rubber strip surrounding it; useful if you bang your phone a lot;

* Believe it or not it even has a kind of ALT+TAB feature that allows switching between open applications;

* I am now trying to see if it works with a 1GB MMC Card. If it does it is trully the BEST phone I have had up to know.

The Nokia N-gage Qd Is A Great Phone At A Great Pr

The Nokia N-Gage QD is a great phone at a great price. Pity about it not working, but if you find the hidden MP3 player you may have just found your soul mate.

You said it has a hidden MP3 player within the phone,a nd a video player. Where can you find this? (Im planning on buying one of these quite soon)

cnu77

Could you please mail me how the MP3 facility can be used? Also, I bought a 256 MB Memory Card. What is the diff between MMC and other Memory Card?

firewarrior

Send a email to [email protected] and I'll send you it there is no inbuilt mp3 player.

itshimthere

Please tell how to find the 'hidden' mp3 player.

firewarrior

The hidden mp3 is readm search for it and QD does not have a hidden mp3 player.
