Nokia 6250

I have been using one of these phones Nokia 6250 since they were first released by Nokia. I am now on my fourth phone having to buy refurbished phones. I originally paid £300 for my first phone (Sim Free) so it would work on any network. I have been so pleased over the years with this phone (I work in the building trade) all I want at work is a phone to talk to people, receive the odd text but to be reliable, dust & waterproof (mine is mini digger proof) My only critisum is that it does not have a camera (cameras were not on phones when this phone was released) so if any incidents occur or you need to photograph a part etc, why do Nokia not make a more up to date version?

The Nokia 6250 is probably the toughest mobile phone on the planet. Its water, dust, shock resistant!!! It fits in my career as a military nurse. I had this phone for almost 3 years. So far, it served me well and appreciated it!! The battery life last 4-6 days without charging which is great!! well... it depends upon the lifestyle of an individual. But for me, Nokia built a masterpiece for people like me!

The battery needs charging every week, but for a weekendtrip I do not carry a charger. Works in England, Rio... not in the US. Why do they not make this phone any more?? Maybe because it is too durable?

The phone is not good. vibration no good. Tunes are very bad.

The phone is the worst phone that i have had. I have had bad phones before but this is the worst of the lot.

I had my Nokia 6250 mobile phone for about 3 days. The first two days I charged it. The third day I (1) removed the back and (2) inserted the SIM card and went to lunch with friends.

Of course I wanted to show off, so I ordered a large glass of water and inserted the phone. The phone went off in 10 seconds, got "liquid damaged" and never came on again.

1. My local Nokia "representatives" said that I forced the back on the phone when I inserted my SIM card, so it was my fault -- despite the fact that I mentioned to them that (1) the back was on the phone when I bought it and (2) maybe it was just a defective back.

2. A few people from Nokia said I should not have put the phone in a glass of water for 10 seconds -- that is, despite the claim that the phone can withstand 1 meter of water for 1 minute.

So for reasons 1 and 2, my claim was not considered by my local representative or Nokia. Be careful taking the back off the phone. You might even want to have the local representative do it themselves and then test the phone before you leave their office.

The Nokia 6250 is a tough mobile phone and it is designed to work under hard conditions. It has many features and a very good battery. However, its antenna isn't so good, so it has a not so good reception. Also, it is quite heavy (175 gr). Nevertheless, it is a phone that won't let you down.

I'm really happy with the nokia 6250 phone. When it rains, i don't have to worry about the phone, it is proofed against it and against dust and anti-shock too!! This is really the best phone i ever had!! Trust me, he lives long!! That's why my brother and my father have him too!! I'll say, buy one like that! kisses...

This is the best phone I have owned. its not too small and fiddley like a lot of "trendy phones" and has a lot of useful features. it is like a grown up 6210 and I think it looks cool. battery life is very good and I shall be keeping this one for a long time.

The Nokia 6250 is probably the most practical mobile phone ever manufactured by nokia. you don't have to worry about your phone while you are doing the things you do all day. i always keep my 6250 in my pocket and sweat does not seem to be a problem. Other conventional mobiles will not withstand sweat. its a lot thougher than the Ericsson R310s in the sence that it drops and lands on its top and bottom. the functions of the 6250 are a class above the rest. what other phone has month displayed calender? well, as for the battery cover and uncovered system connectors, i hope that nokia will come out with a better designed mobile phone.
