Have Owned This Nokia 6233 For Around 3 Months, Bo
Have owned this Nokia 6233 for around 3 months, bought it sim free (black version), to use on the O2 network.
The screen quality is very good, although now surpassed by the new Nokia 6300 screen. The stereo loudspeakers are amazing but you need to alter the equalizer settings to get the best from it, by far the loudest speakers on any phone, the volume just blows my previous phone a SE 810i away. My phone did suffer from white screen crashing but since I updated the firmware online to the latest version everything has been fine. Another plus point is that the handset is finished in a kind of rubberised paint which feels good and stops the phone sliding about.

Usability - For Me That's The Key To A Good Phone
Usability - for me that's the key to a good phone and this (as most Nokia's are) is a very usable phone. I look the way it looks with a large colour screen and great features. I find the menu intuitive and the external buttons really helpful - the one button voice recorder is particularly useful. The way you can adapt the navigation keys really helps for ease of use. The battery life is a little disappointing but still OK. The only major gripe is with the new charger that Nokia are rolling out - this means I cannot keep a charger at work - I have to take it home because my large collection of old chargers do not work. Oh well give it a few years and we will all have them.

I would recommend this phone to people that like to listen to music without their earphones in. If you turn the equalizer up buy on notch on each, the phone overpowers anything without any loss in the quality, however if the equalizer is set any higher the quality does deteriorate.
Amazing screen quality, even with only a 2 megapixel camera the screen quality of the phone makes them look stunning. The stereo speakers reproduce amazing quality sound and is very loud.
After having mine for 3 days, it refused to charge, which orange didn't give me a new one, so I had to buy one for £15.00. but apart from that it is great
It also comes with some great tools, like a language translator and Converter II

Nokia 6233 Is Not A Bad Phone. However, The Batte
Nokia 6233 is not a bad phone. However, the battery life is absolutely appalling! I was given this phone as a replacement for my lost K750i. I am glad that I only have to make do with it for a couple of weeks of using it. I miss the added features that the Sony Ericsson possessed! If I were to advise on this, I would suggest you taking the Sony Ericsson K75O or the later models of Sony Ericsson range, if this is the kind of phone you are looking for.
