The Nokia 6210 Is Brilliant, The Battery Life Is G
The Nokia 6210 is brilliant, The battery life is good, the ease of use is great! I constantly transfer data via a Sync cable to the desktop PC an Infared to the laptop. I use the Sony Ericsson HBH-200 Bluetooth headset which is small enough to get into a crash helmet - yes it gets used on a motorbike! Handsfree options offer auto answer and voice activation.
This is the best phone I have ever had - tried several other Nokias but keep coming back to this one...
(With a review like this I might be able to get a job at NOKIA) But it is just so good - why have they stopped making it?
the nokia 6210 doesn't have bluetooth, you can only transfer files by IRDA

The Nokia 6210 Was A Pretty Standard Mobile Phone
The Nokia 6210 was a pretty standard mobile phone by nokia, but with the extra of infrared and wap. i dropped it loads and it never had a single fault.
im on my 4th phone now, the 6210 was my 2nd phone, and i still find myself going "i miss my 6210" "the 6210 was a good phone". i gave it to my mum to stick her PAYG sim card in, because her old phone was a brick. its a shame my mum got it stolen when she went abroad :-( my dads got the updated version, 6310i or something, thats good too!

Used This Nokia 6210 Handset For Its Third Year No
Used this Nokia 6210 handset for its third year now, and tried and tested a few more mobile phones since then, but have always reverted back to this faithful old friend. Useful for my laptop modem connection. For a business person, it's perfect, easy and quick to use - no fiddly menus to scroll through, or hidden buttons to accidentally press. Bought one new battery this year (slim) and it's like brand new again. Very professional phone - can't find another to beat it...yet

The Nokia 6210 Is A Classic Nokia Phone With A Sli
The Nokia 6210 is a classic Nokia phone with a slim style and an ease of use that rivals models with far less features than than this.
Its ability to store over 150 messages means that you only ever have to erase them at very irregular intervals compared to a lot of other models which get to about 20 and tell you its full.
On the down side (as we all know) it does have a tendancy to turn itself off occasionally but who really doesn't have 30 seconds to turn this highly reliable phone back on.

Having Used My Nokia 6210 For Almost 3 Years I Hav
Having used my Nokia 6210 for almost 3 years I have generally been very happy with it, the most irritating issue being it's propensity to turn itself off from time to time (seems to be a well known failing of this model from the look of other reviews). Now a little heavier than newer colour screen models, but overall I would rate this handset at the top of the list of all the mobiles I have had over the past 10 years or so. Especially good for business use, but now lacks some of the advanced features that are now in the 6310i.

The 6210 Would Be My Dream Phone But For Its Habit
The 6210 would be my dream phone but for its habitual turning itself off. I have tried cleaning the contacts, wedging various things into the battery compartment, tapping it on my hand- nothing seems to solve the problem. There is no pattern whatsoever to it either, I have dropped it several times and it has been fine, yet sometimes a slight movement of the hand whilst you are holding it is enough to switch it off. I know no less than 7 people on a personal level all of whom have or have had 6210's that behave in this way, not to mention all the other people within reviewcentre who have reported this problem.
Apart from it dying and turning off frequently, the phone itself is faultless. It has a huge memory for numbers and messages, is entirely indestructable, the vibrator and ringtones/volume is excellent, and characters spring onto the screen as soon as you press the keys, no matter how fast you type.
In conclusion, this phone is near ideal, but for its accursed switching itself off. Theres nothing quite as enjoyable as seeing your phone turn itself off just as you press to save the mammoth text message youve spent ages writing, yes...
The phone has recently stopped working altogether- it wont even power up, and I now have an Ericsson T68i. Although the characters take an age to appear on the screen, the tones are too quiet and the keypad makes an annoying ticking noise, at least I can now use my phone without fear of it turning off and losing my message or cutting off my call!

A Good All-round Phone With Sensible, Business-lik
A good all-round phone with sensible, business-like styling and an impressive set of features. I've dropped it down the stairs, out of my hand onto a concrete driveway, and generally thrown it around in daily use. It's on its third fascia (just to keep it smart) and is over 2 years old, but is still going strong. My only niggles are as follows:
1. The ear speaker occasionally goes on the blink, but this is resolved by a gentle tap! I think this has more to do with me taking the phone apart!
2. The battery has worn loose, which can cause the phone to switch itself off occasionally, especially if it's not being stored in a leather case. I resolved this by inserting a folded piece of paper between the battery and the case, just to give it some tension.

Had The Same Problem With My 6210, So Replaced It
Had the same problem with my 6210, so replaced it with a 6510 and - hey presto - exactly the same problem!! Is there a Nokia phone that this doesn't happen with?? I love their phones but it is now becoming very irritating, especially when you've typed 160 chars only for it all to be erased!
