In Fairness, The Nokia 3200 Mobile Phone Has Lots
In fairness, the Nokia 3200 mobile phone has lots of bad and good points. All I can say though, is that it's only worth buying if you find it cheap.
It's very simple and easy to use, and it is nice looking, but it does have flaws. I was even surprised that it came with no software or cable to link to the PC with - you have to buy it separately. The memory is the biggest problem though, as it's just not enough. A high quality photo takes up around 12-15KB, and this soon mounts up if you have other things, like ringtones and games. However, if you're new to mobiles, or want something bright and easy to use, this is definitely the phone for you.
It's so easy to get to the features, and it is a joy to use and so simple, as Nokia always seem to make their phones - it's just the simple, yet important things that let it down though. Sorry Nokia, but you've got to give us better value than this.

I Do Like The Nokia 3200 Mobile Phone, And I Think
I do like the Nokia 3200 mobile phone, and I think it is good for the type of people who drop their phones a lot, as I have dropped it several times and it has never broke. You can also change the covers and make your own.
The only things I don't like is that navigating the menus is boring; you can't have special key tones, and the menu is a boring layout. Also the colour screen is bad quality, and so is the camera. The games that come with it (Bounce, Virtual Me) are good though, and you can also download more. With this phone you can download lots of things, because Nokia's are compatible with all the companies that do ringtones etc., but the memory is tiny.
The battery life is long, and I sometimes manage to keep it on full battery for up to 3 days.

I Bought My Nokia 3200 Phone Ages Ag And I Haven't
I bought my Nokia 3200 phone ages ag and I haven't had a single problem with. I use the radio rarely but when I do I get a good reception. I went on the Nokia site and even got myself a free Cover Cutter so I can get perfectly shaped covers, which is good. I am happy with my phone but it seems like it is out of date and old, the camera is good but could better.

I Like The Nokia 3200 But I Wish Someone Had Told
I like the Nokia 3200 but I wish someone had told me how easily it would break, but as I said if you are looking for a first camera phone then this is it, because it is a good phone.

The Nokia 3200 Looks Ugly, The Shape Is Very Munda
The Nokia 3200 looks ugly, the shape is very mundane. The cam is poor, it doesn't have a video recording feature, and it's hard to get radio reception.
My hands are getting tired from all the bad points, let's just leave it at that. Basically don't buy this phone!

Nokia Are Well Known For Their Quality Mobile Phon
Nokia are well known for their quality mobile phones and the 3200 is no exception to the rule. Even with the new remarkably low price of £50, the 3200 does not skimp on the features or design quality.
But first things first - the look. On first glance, those buttons look like they are going to be a disaster - rather than individual buttons for the numbers, there are 6 ovals each split into a top and bottom half with a different number on each. In order to get the right number, just press the corresponding half. It works really well and you never get a wrong number, which was a surprise. Also of note is the case, which is transparent and allows you to create your own inlays with the supplied cutter. This really is a fully customisable case.
Then there are the features. The 3200 has an integrated camera but the quality is debatable - nowhere near as good as something like an E700 or T160 and the snaps it takes are disappointingly small. However, the built in FM radio with automatic tuning (and fantastic reception) more than makes up for the (still useable) camera's shortcomings. There is also a great little LED torch embedded in the bottom of the phone that is activated by holding the * button down. I'm surprised that this isn't a standard feature on more phones considering that nearly everyone carries one these days - no more fumbling for keys or reading maps by the light from your phone's display.
The software is as solid as ever on Nokia models - very easy to use and in full colour. The icons are great and give a windows style feel to the menus, while other great things like infra-red allow Nokia users to swap images and ring tones for free. There are some minor niggles with the 3200. The case becomes loose after a while which is a minor annoyance, and the way that you have to individually delete sent messages (instead of deleting them all at once) is very tedious. The built in games can only be described as bizarre (an unplayable bouncy ball sim and a ridiculous virtual pet thing) and the built in ring tones aren't much cop either. However, as I'm a 23 year old male, the latest bus-annoyer from Usher isn't top of my wish list when it comes to tones - a simple 'ring' would suffice; but alas you'll have to make do with European techno pop ditties and classical tunes if you don't see the need to waste £4 of credit on a tone. Apart from those minor hitches, the 3200 is a great mobile, especially for under £50.
Thanks, I discovered the error of my ways a few days after posting the review. I stand well and truly corrected!
TOMLEECE
Just a quick point that you can delete whole groups of messages at a time (or the whole lot if you wish).
Got to the Messages menu, select Text Messages and then scroll down to the Delete messages option and you can then delete All Messages, Inbox, Sent Items and Archive.
Not trying to undermine your review, it's very good, just thought it would be helpful to you.
PS, My review is underneath yours :-)

I Have A Contract Phone With O2 But I Use A Lot Of
I have a contract phone with O2 but I use a lot of minutes so I have a stand-by PAYG sim with Virgin mobile and this handset only has just been reduced to a ridiculously low price of £39.99, so rather than keep swapping sims between one phone, I bought this so I can keep my Virgin sim in one place.
Most reviews of this phone are very good, but some people seem to think the camera isn't up to scratch. Admittedly there are only 5000 colours on the display, but I think the display is clear enough. The radio is excellent (just like the 6230) and it has all the main features one would expect from a Nokia handset.
I believe this handset is aimed at the 9-early teens age group, but I am coming up 32 and I love it. Great phone for the price

Upgraded My Phone To The Nokia 3200. Not Bad. I Lo
Upgraded my phone to the Nokia 3200. Not Bad. I love the idea of the "make your own" covers although very poor cutter supplied. Very modern design and typical easy to use Nokia layout which is great. To start with the button layout is rather hard to grasp but after having it for a few days it was extremely easy to use. Great overall phone my only bad point are that it has a typical Nokia camera-poor quality-although the night mood is relatively good, but overall a good to average phone.

I Got The 3200 In Exchange With The Nokia 6610. I
I got the 3200 in exchange with the Nokia 6610. I thought it was advantgeous and it was, except for the style. Anyway, the screen quality is not bad, but not great also (4000 colours). The camera is useless, if you really need a camera in a phone forget about it. The battery stays for about 3 days. It maybe a nice phone for you if you don't need a camera as it's price is low. I think you can get a SonyEricsson T610 for nearly the same price and far better features.

I Bought The Nokia 3200 3 Months Ago, Upgrading Fr
I bought the Nokia 3200 3 months ago, upgrading from a Nokia 3310. It appealed to me as it seemed to have quite a lot of features for a pretty low price for a camera phone. The phone has a camera, a radio, wap, a calender and what I feel is a decent amount of storage, it keeps 60 mssgs at any one time and 400 phone contacts. The only problem I have found with this phone is that after three months I've just had to put it in the bin!! after dropping it from jeans pocket height, the camera has gone through the front of the screen and would cost £150 to repair, as I bought it for £80 I think I'll just have to look for a slightly tougher phone.
I've dropped it several times and it was fine. Read my review for more info.
