I bought this unit from Dial-a-phone (part of the Phone-4-U).
It wasn't a cheap item, but as it's Motorola I thought I could trust the brand - WRONG.
This model has a ultra shiny case. The first one they sent, has Sand & a hair under the plastic protection, which had scratched the case. Whilst they insisted that it was New, you could tell that it wasn't.
I had to threaten them with TSO before they would exchange it.
The replacement was a lot better. Unfortunately the reception is c**p, and the unit won't keep time/date/memory.
Dialaphone stopped responding to messages & letters to their Managing Director.
In the end, Motorola agreed to take it into their own workshops to rectify. All they did was install new software - it didn't help matters.
Over all it went back 4 times,,,,,, but it has never worked properly.
I now know that Dialaphone have a terrible reputation, but thought that Moto had a better one.
I can now only use this model as a 2nd or stand-by unit and returned to my old Panasonic kit, which is 100% more reliable.
Motorola ? nah way.

I Would Say At The Moment The Motorola Krzr K1 Is
I would say at the moment the Motorola KRZR K1 is the best phone that I have owned. I like the shape of it as it will fit in your back pocket or bag easily. My last phone you had to put it in a case, or you could accidently make a phone call. I can't see me wanting to replace this for quite a while. I even find texting with this phone easy, once you have worked out which setting to use.

Motorola Krzr K1 Review - Find It Impossible To
Motorola KRZR K1 review - Find it impossible to permanently turn off predictive text. Not sure if its my network (T-Mobile) but I find that calls regularly "fail". Bluetooth disconnects for no apparent reason and you cannot leave the bluetooth receiver permanently switched on. I've had my phone for just over 12 months and it has started making a 'fizzing' noise. I have grown to hate my phone and wish I had not given my old one away - can't wait for my contract to end so I can get a decent phone. I was dazzled by the size and beauty of this phone and have been regretting my decision for the past 12 months.Don't bother with this phone. It is annoying to use and 'dies' quickly - therefore unlikely to see you through along contract period if you use it regularly.

I Bought This Phone In Addition To My Motorola V3i
I bought this phone in addition to my Motorola V3im on a different network. I like that it uses the same charger and I don't have to carry two. I do like that you see mp3 and photos in one list whether on phone or memory card. I haven't swapped to using this phone as I still prefer my V3im because it works better on bluetooth!

I Bought This Phone For My Wife A Few Months Ago A
I bought this phone for my wife a few months ago and I really like it.
It feels natural when holding it up to your ear, its' very lightweight and offers some fun functions like steaming downloads, music, videos etc.
the camera is as you would expect on many modern cell phones-crummy.
When talking to someone on this phone or from the other end, the sound qual is clear and background noises/voices don't sound washed out.
I would like to see future versions of this phone carry a slightly larger screen size because the current screen size is rather small.
the dims are strange on this phone, slim but long, narrow but stretched.
Just takes a little getting used to.
I'd def reccommend this phone!

My Motorola Krzr K1 Arrived This Morning And I Had
My Motorola KRZR K1 arrived this morning and I had high expectations! I was bitterly dissapointed.
I just cant get on with it, my Motorola V3x was great, had fantastic picture quality, long battery life, texting was easy, calling was easy, taking videos was easy. But it all seems to be a struggle on this phone, I think it was built for 15yr olds, not for a woman who needs a decent phone for work.
I have also heard of the screen cracking, although I have not witnessed this yet, due to only having it a day. I'll leave it a few more days to grow on me, but if not I will be trading this in for the Nokia 6288.

I Have Owned This Phone For About A Month Now And
I have owned this phone for about a month now and I really like it. Having owned a Motorola before it did not take me too long to become reacquainted with the slightly different functionality of using a Nokia.
This phone looks the business and I much prefer how the keys are designed being flat rather than buttons which stick out. Solves the problem of buttons breaking or becoming hard to press like I have had problems with before. I also like the idea of flip phones, however this one is slightly harder to flip than my previous Motorola which flipped sideways as opposed to vertically. Not a big problem however. The phone is quite small when closed, fitting easily into the pocket.
The phone comes with a 2 Megapixel camera which is excellent quality for a phone. The only problem is the picture quality is not much good when in the dark as there is no flash. A problem when in a club I have found. There is however a zoom function which is pretty good and doesn't get to "pixelly" until you are at maximum zoom.
When I have used Bluetooth it has always worked fine. I have transferred a few images from friends and have had no problems with the Bluetooth unlike the last reviewer. Hopefully this will remain the case for me.
I really enjoy having a USB port to charge the phone as opposed to the connectivity that has come before. I have noticed that the phone charges much quicker. The most beneficial aspect of this however is you do not need a plug socket to charge your phone, just a computer with a USB port. I have noticed however that charging your phone this way slows the computer down. Although still a very handy feature if you maybe cant get to a plug socket. Using this connection also allows u to transfer files faster and more effectively from computer to phone than Bluetooth does.
The audio quality of this phone is very good. I only use MP3 files as my ring tones normally but this phone can be used quite easily as an MP3. However using the phone regularly as an MP3 player will more than likely drain the battery a lot faster.
The O2 web access I have always found pretty simple to use. Although I do not use this feature extensively. I just select the sport option and check football scores and that is all I use it for. I don't think that it is an alternative to using a computer as I have never been a big fan of mobile internet on anything more than a small scale.
The memory for this phone is pretty good, but only because it comes with a 128MB memory card. Without this the memory would be poor and unable to store anything other than a couple of MP3s and a few pictures. However with 128MB I have more memory than I require personally. If you are going to store a decent amount of video or a large selection of MP3s then you will need to invest in a larger sized memory card. If not then this should be more than enough.
The JAVA game "Platinum Sudoku" comes pre installed on this phone for those of you who enjoy the gaming aspect of mobile phones. Personally I don't play games on my mobile as I am not a big fan but for those of you that do there is an option of installing new games onto the phone as well as browsing O2 online for applications.
The reception I receive using this phone is a lot better than on my previous phone. I have not switched networks and was on O2 prior to owning this phone but I have been told by people on the other end of the phone that I am a lot clearer now than I was with my previous phone. Which can only be a good thing.
I am pleased with the battery life on this phone as my previous phones have needed charging pretty much on a daily basis even with little use. This phone only needs charging daily if used frequently. As I don't use my phone a whole lot I can easily go almost a week without having to recharge.
One problem with this phone however is it is very prone to finger marks. There is absolutely no way that you will be able to keep the shiny exterior free of finger prints. Personally I don't find this much of a drawback although there are people out there who will.
The main drawback of this phone, and this is not a problem that I have had personally, is its brittleness. Before I bought this phone I read a couple of reviews where people had dropped their phone and smashed the screen easily. If you are somebody who is a bit on the clumsy side then maybe this phone is not for you. Otherwise I would highly recommend this phone to anybody as it does everything you want from a phone as well as look good.

This Phone Is Really Cool The Blue Tooth Works Gre
This phone is really cool the blue tooth works great in my car and it very easy to use. If you are used to a nokia then it will take a little to get used to the different button set up for texting but once you go for it it doesn't take long. Its packed full of useful functions and the voice dialing is a real plus (it works!) If you are looking for a real stunning phone that does it all with good build quality and ease of use this is the one for you.
