Okay, I Know This Is A Very Simple Phone But It's

Okay, I know this is a very simple phone but it's excellent to 2nd phone. I use it when i go to playing sports or climbing. Anyway i can't understand why doesn't have the phone a nicer, more practicable UI. Reading (or writing ) sms is painfully. Display is very interesting, i suppose we'll see more devices with eink display in the near future especially in ebook readers.

The Motorola F3 Cell Phone Is Not User Friendly An

The Motorola F3 cell phone is not user friendly and has limited functionality. The lettering on the screen is a mixture of upper and lower case letters. Single Words or telephone numbers often cannot be viewed in their entirety on the screen resulting in extensive scrolling. The menu system is extremely poor. You need to know a variety of codes and "secret" button combinations to get the most basic functionality out of the phone. Often you get caught in a menu cycle which is hard to get out of. This has been a most disappointing purchase exacerbated by not being able to get through to Motorola with a number of emails and telephone calls being ignored.

The Motorola F3 Is Terrible. It Is Literally The W

The Motorola F3 is terrible. It is literally the worst mobile phone created since they became smaller than a briefcase. You scroll sideways and read one word at a time to read a text And it doesn't even have a screen, it has a calculator display , there are loads of number 8s in the background that get filled by text. Messages therefore read like this:HEY R U CoMING To M- (scroll sideways)..Y HoUSE STILL ?The ringtones are terrible, they don't even kick in with sound until about 2 seconds from answerphone so you need the reactions of a panther to whip it out and STAMP on the green button to answer a call. You can barely feel the vibration. The menu system is terrible and the "settings" you can alter are... the time and date.

I Bought This Phone Because I Don't Want A Phone W

I bought this phone because I don't want a phone with a camera, I've got a real camera for that, I didn't want web browsing, I've got a PC for that, I didn't want an Mp3 player on it, I've got an iPod for that.

This phone is as basic as they come, it can make calls and it can send and receive texts.

Don't buy this phone if you do a lot of texting though, the screen is very, very low resolution, and the it doesn't display special characters.

The phone even speaks to you with voice prompts, you can turn this off if you want. There's no menu as such, just 6 icons you scroll to that cover all the basic functions of the phone, there is also code based prompts for advanced instructions to the phone, ***510* for example switches voice prompts on.

The screen is based on "E paper" and uses very little power, hence I'm charging it up once every 10 days, the screen is monochrome and has no back light but is easy to read in the dark and sunlight.

The phone is very well made and robust, I've dropped it a number of time with no damage, it looks stylish and is very thin, only 9 mm thick.

If you want a cheap phone, I paid £35.00 which included £30.00 worth of credit, that makes calls and sends and receives texts then this the phone for you, if you want an all singing all dancing phone this isn't the phone for you.

As a cheap back up for the beach, or rough sports it's perfect, the case is apparently dust and splash proof, interestingly the phone isn't locked to any network, so it will take other networks sim cards, and its dual band too.
