3 Mobile INQ1 Facebook Phone

Wish I had never bought my INQ1 via three.co.uk. Customer service from 3 so far has been rubbish - as things go wrong and I have had to contact them. It feels like it is a good source of revenue to them to keep on bogged down on the phone for ages. The INQ1 - I only had for some months before it developed bad problems and now - I am told it is fixed, except I have tried unsuccessfully the past three months to get a replacement battery which is no longer on the market, it appears. I pay a flatrate for Skype all the while and my time under guarantee is fast running out. Guess I cannot be sure the phone has actually been fixed, if I cannot get a battery. - :| ???

i don't believe i got tricked into buying the 3 inq1 Facebook Phone. between the nokia and the inq he said the inq is superior. they sold "truckloads" of it. i should have known, never believe a salesman.

Build quality is pretty good, I bought the 3 INQ1 Facebook Phone because I ilked the display - very clear and bright. The camera is OKish, the results usually need edited once uploaded to PC. Reception is poor, whether it's because of 3s poor coverage where I live or the phone I'm not too sure - my Sony Ericsson on T-Mobile is the same! The Switcher is a pain in the bum, should never have been invented! Overall, not a phone I'd recommend.

The 3 INQ1 Facebook Phone is a cheap phone thats trying to be something special. The only reason it has won an award is because it has integrated facebook. It has nothing else going for it. i wish i never bought it!

The camera only works in full sunlight.

Reception is horrible.

It can only run small apps, otherwise it turns itself off.

The speaker is too soft.

The switcher is a waste of time.

Love this phone. Had the Skypephone S1 which was a good all round phone at a good price and so bought the Skype S2 which in my opinion is poor. Had 2 x S2's in one week and both crashed at least 3 or 4 times a day, turning off and requiring a battery removal to reboot. Thankfully 3 have redeemed themselves with the Inq1. This is thankfully stable like the first Skypehone and has a whole host of features built in to make it stand out from the crowd. If you've got the money ( £79.99 from 3) then the Inq1 is a great buy. It's a slide phone, 3.2mp camera and all the internet features built in. If you're on a budget and just want Skype more basic msn/facebook buy the old Skypephone for about 40 quid. My advice is to avoid the Skypephone S2 until 3 sort out all the bugs as currently it's what is known as a "turkey"!
