S2U2 Slide 2 Unlock

S2U2 Slide 2 Unlock is an application for Windows Mobile touchscreen phones. It basically lets you lock and unlock your phone by using a slider which looks just like the Apple iPhone. The application overrides the normal locking function and has various other options to display some system information.

I installed S2U2 for my Samsung Omnia i900 but found it was full of problems. I didn't find the settings very obvious and had to fiddle around to get it to function properly and to cope with when my phone went into standby mode. It was also difficult to get it to work properly with applications running in the background (such as my media player). It got to the stage where it would freeze my phone in certain situations and I would have to hard reset it manually.

As a result I had to uninstall it and do not use it any more. The application is free but I still really wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to the issues I had - the only thing I would say is that perhaps this was specific to the Omnia and it may work better on other Windows Mobile touchscreen devices.
