The LinkedIn app and website are both extremely helpful and have helped me in many aspects of work. It has help me to create contacts and make connections with people in the similar work sector as me. It has also allowed others to view my profile and find me if needed. Extremely useful app and site.

The Linked In App on the iPhone lets you interact with your Linked In account. You can check your Network Updates so you can instantly see who is linked connected to who and check their status updates.

You can view the profile of people you are connected to and add them to your iPhone address book, which is really useful. You can search for people by name and keyword then invite them to join your network.

However one thing you can't do is quickly login in and accept invitation to connect requests. This is really annoying as I can't be bothered to login in on my PC just to accept invitations.

Overall it gives you a decent snapshot of your Linked In account but there's not enough functionality to make it a serious replacement for logging in on a PC.
