Civilization Revolution Lite

I downloaded Civilization Revolution Lite in order to test the game out with a view to buying the full version. I never quite got into the Civilization games on the PC but I have enjoyed other strategy games like Sim City and Advance Wars so I thought I'd give it a go.

First impressions were good. The game seemed pretty full featured. I went about colonising the land, building armies and making technological advances.

All seemed to be going well in game 1 until after 10 hours play I started losing every battle I entered. I couldn't understand why and how my armies were dying so easily and I quickly lost almost all my territory. There were no details or help on battle strategy so I really had no idea what was going wrong and why I was losing so heavily. I just seemed to be a passenger in a game I had no influence over!

As a result I haven't played the game since and certainly won't pay for the full version.
