Incase Slider Case - iPhone 3GS

I bought the Incase Slider Case for my iPhone 3GS a few months ago and so far so good.

I chose it mainly to protect my iPhone from bumps and scratches rather than aesthetic reasons. There are prettier cases around but I this was definitely a practical purchase. I can be a bit clumsy and I often take my phone with me whilst cycling or snowboarding so, as with so many other things in life, I thought it would be wise to invest in a little protection.

I'd previously owned rubber iPhone cases but hadn't got on with them. They can look a bit naff, the rubber causes friction that stops your iPhone sliding in and out of your pocket and after a while the rubber case can stretch and go loose.

A friend tried the InCase Slider and rated it so I gave it a go. The finish is excellent - it feels high quality and sturdy. After 6 months the case still looks great and doesn't have any big scratches and still fits snugly. After a few 'drops' my iPhone still works fine. Job done

There are a couple of niggles tho. You have to slide the bottom part off to use your iPhone with a stand or dock. Doing this does seem to scratch the casing a little on your iPhone. My only other gripe is that the case inevitably adds a fair bit of bulk to your 3GS which does spoil the gorgeous design of the iPhone. I went for a white case and that probably accentuates the problem - I'll be going for grey or black next time, a slimming colour ;)

Definitely buy the InCase Slider Case if you want a high quality, durable case that will protect your Jesus phone. If you're after a slimline case that looks pretty you should look elsewhere.
