Samsung WEP200

Not a bad unit,However the ear hooks brake a couple times.On my third now.

I rarely use the Samsung WEP200 since I got one for myself and my daughter. WHY?

The ear hook broke in one week. It is listed as removeable so you can change which ear you want to wear it in. I exchanged it twice. I bought the same thing for my daughter, her ear hook broke in ONE day. I went back to car toys as they told me that If the ear hook was insufficient they would exchange the whole unit.

Instead I got another ear hook and he told me to not take it off. I wanted to let my daughter use it. I slid it off ONCE and it broke. The plastic is EXTREMELY brittle and not a type that can be used to make this attachment. Car toys told me where to order online. They cost a dollar and 99 cents each. How about a package of 19 for two dollars, or have you made a better one for a different bluetooth that I can use on mine...

As I said above the sound and reception is great. The use of a bluetooth in general (if they all work like this) is impracticle. If you are driving and want to have it in so the police leave you alone, then you have to sit and undo all the programing when you take it off. (It falls off if you don't) then you forget that it isset up for bluetooth and when your phone rings........you can't answer it.

You say hello, hello are you there? Oh yeah, the bluetooth....how do I get this thing turned off....wait....can you hear me???? I can't hear you......wait.....buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. They you undo all the programing so you can talk to the person that called you, put the phone away and lose the bluetooth cause it is too small to keep track of. It is designed to have in all the time, (24-7) but it won't stay in place, little kids keep asking you why your ear blinks blue.....mama looka boo boo....they shout!

This is a very inconvenient idea.....BUT it has good reception.

Overall, the Samsung WEP200 is a great headset for the price and is just the right size.

I bought the Samsung WEP200 headset from ebay for £20 as my old Sony Ericsson headset never worked properly.

The headset is tidy enough to be held in my head by its speaker, using the same principle as headphones. I don't even know I am wearing it, which compared to the other headset which you have to wear a clip around your ear. These in the past have lead to getting a tired aching ears and wonky sunglasses during the summer!!

The sound quality is excellent. I can hear what someone is saying to me even when I have my car window open. I have no problems with echoing or with it falling out of my ear.

The carry case / charger is an excellent idea. This stops it rattling around in my car and keeps in clean.

I would recommend this headset. Say goodbye to the ugly over-sized headsets.

I chose this to match my Samsung E720 phone and the sound quality was good - better than through the phone speaker. However, it never did feel comfortable and I was always messing with it because I thought I would lose it. I actually did drop it and the multi function button fell off - after that I couldn't really use it any more. I was disappointed not to be able to get an in car charger for the headset and it used a different charger to my phone. I did use it with my Motorola phone and it was fine.

Well if your looking for a decent bluetooth headset, you should go for the Samsung WEP200. Its price and looks will surely give you a shock. I love using this bluetooth headset. SAMSUNG!!! for once has produced something good.

Performance is superb, the Samsung WEP200 looks great, and the battery life is excellent. However, on the negative side, charging, although quick, is complicated and it falls out of my ear too easily.
