I Found That It Is Difficult For Others To Here Me

I found that it is difficult for others to here me they catch a lot of wind from my end. As far as battery life I haven't had a problem and I use my headset for 2 1/2 hours straight plus about 1 hour before it never dies on me.

I was looking for a new bluetooth headset, as I like to keep my hands free when I am shopping in a supermarket, and I wanted a new device which didn't make me look like a complete prat. I have tried loads of headsets now, and I look like a complete goose in them all.

Thanks for your advice on the Motorola HS810 bluetooth headset. I don't think I'll even try on this particular model.

The Motorola Hs810 Looks Good And Is Comfortable T

The Motorola HS810 looks good and is comfortable to wear but has very poor battery life, only an hour or so of talk time, a few hours at best of standby. Very poor volume level. I found I have to hold the set to my ear tighter if there was any noise around me at all. Could not drive and use the set at the same time because the vehicle drowned out the set volume.

It was the first BlueTooth I owned and was very disappointed with my Motorola HS810. Wish I had read reviews first before buying this product as I would have moved on. Oh well, live and learn.

I Swapped My Hs810 With A Previous Nokia Headset T

I swapped my HS810 with a previous Nokia headset that had a broken earpiece (don't they all?). The talktime on the Motorola never came to more than an hour before the battery went flat and even on a full charge lasted no more than a few hours in standby before dying on me. My worst complaint was that it would drop the connection to my phone at random and without warning. It was impossible to reconnect without switching everything off and starting again. The earpiece on that one also broke off and I could get no support whatsoever from either the supplier (Carphone Warehouse) or from Motorola. Finally, after it dropped out on a particularly important call, I tossed it out of the window on the M3 at 70mph. Rubbish product & no support.

I Have Tried Both The Motorola And The Hs820 And F

I have tried both the Motorola and the HS820 and feel that this is the better headset. The quick on/off by flipping the boom allows faster answering if the headset is off. This model also syncs with the phone quicker than the 820. One shortcoming is that depending on your ear shape, the microphone on the boom may be pressed against your face and muffled. I fixed this by putting a self-adhesive rubber furniture protector on the inside of the boom to keep it a few millimeters away from my face...works like a charm. Aside from that, the range is very good and I've had no problem hearing any conversations. I highly recommend this headset!

Overall The Motorola Hs810 Is A Mediocre Headset T

Overall the Motorola HS810 is a mediocre headset that looks nice but is hard to hear. The mic works fine, the unit is light - however, I found myself holding the unit to my head if there was any background noise, especially in the car. I do not recommend this product.

I have owned one for 18 months and use it regularly in the car, maybe you should have turned the volume up on it or taken it back as faulty. I have tried many other headsets and this is the one I recommend to people everytime!
