I Am A Cheapskate, And I've Tried Quite A Few Diff
I am a cheapskate, and I've tried quite a few different really inexpensive bluetooth headsets, with almost universally poor results. With almost all of them, I get complaints about bad echo from people I talk to, like I'm talking from the inside of a tube or something like that. I suppose I COULD just spend the extra money on a brand-name headset, but I'm always afraid an expensive one will be just as bad, so why bother spending the extra money? Lucky for me then that the Blue Cube headset surprised me with how clear the microphone is. I haven't had any echo complaints, though I'm told it sounds a little like I'm talking on a speaker-phone. My only complaint is that the user guide is a little light on information, and there is almost zero on-line support. The www.bluecubegadgets.com web site is limited to pairing instructions. There is no other information on the web site - not even contact information for the company. I suspect that this headset is sold under different brand-names and support might be available if I discovered what other companies marketed this same device.

The Erikson Blue Cube Headset is a really nice cheap headset ($39 CDN). The battery stays good for over a week. It's comfortable, long wearing and super light. It also has a very clear microphone.
