Installation Of My Roadstar Cd-852usmp/fm Cd/mp3 O
Installation of my ROADSTAR CD-852USMP/FM CD/MP3 only took a matter of 5 minutes after removing my previous cassette player. Had to use the new cage supplied but that's ok. I tried various devices in the USB Port with following results:
1. Dell 64 Mb memory stick. Found and played MP3 files in folders.
2. Safecom 512 Mb MP3 player. Found and played MP3 files in folders.
3. Creative Labs Zen Touch. Has about 8 gig on it, mostly WMA files but there are some MP3 files. The 852 recognised it as a USB device but even after 10 minutes did not find any files to play. Maybe I am impatient and will have to change all the WMA to MP3 and re-test. However. This was the main reason I bought the 852 (so I just had my Zen touch both in and out of the VW Van). So I am a little disappointed and deducting 2 points.
Haven't tried the SD Card slot yet as I don't own one.
Tried CD-R and CD-RW full of MP3 and works fine.
