Overall I Am Happy With This Amplifier, If You Are
Overall i am happy with this amplifier, if you are looking for an amplifier for bass look into rockford fosgate, most of there amps can handle a 1 ohm load and gives you specefic rms wattage and overall its worth the extra 50-100 due to their badass warranty

I Tried Out This Amplifier Before I Decided On Whe
I tried out this amplifier before I decided on whether to by it or not.
Legacy LA460 class A/B amplifier
A rather budget amplifier, can pick these up second hand for around about £30
Features 0-12db bass enhance fixed at 60hz and bridgeable connections for use of subwoofer (which I tried out).
2 ohm stable.
The power output is claimed to be 2x300 watts or 1x600 watts max. completely disregard the max output, its not true. When selecting and amplifier you should always go by the RMS output of an amplifier. Which this amplifier doesn't provide you with.
From a healthy alternator of say around 13.8V it actually puts around about 165 watts RMS when bridged and around about 2x80 watts RMS when not bridged, rather false leading as the power output isn't great at all.
When wiring this into my car, I was running it off an 8 gauge autoleads kit, and there was a god solid earth connection, which I sanded down to the bare metal
Not matter what way I set it up, keeping the RCA leads away from the power lead even on the other side of the car, there was always interference coming through the subwoofer which was very annoying as it was very loud as well.
As a result the sound quality wasn't great at all, the music was interrupted by loud thumps and the amplifier was soon returned.
I am glad I tried this amp out before I bought it as I would be pulling my hair out now.
