Poor Quality
I PURCHACED A JOY TAB GEM101312S 9.7INCH TABLET, THIS WAS BOUGHT ON THE 8TH MAY, WHEN OPENING THE BOX I FOUND THAT THE ITEM WAS JUST WHAT I WANTED.
BUT IT WOULD TURN ON/OFF IS IF IT HAD A MIND OF ITS OWN, THE SCREEN STARTED TO PULSATE WITH COLOURS GOING ACROSS THE SCREEN. THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS ITEM, LOOKS GOOD BUT CAN BE DECIEVING!

Joytab 9.7" - Do Not Buy! You Will Regret It.
We bought one of these for occasional use (we normally use apple ipad2). Within 2 weeks it had developed it's first fault (the buttons broke). It was returned and after 2 weeks we chased Gemini support only to be told it was still awaiting technical repair. It was sent back to us after 3 weeks. On its first use, it developed another fault! It kept shutting down and not because the battery was flat. It was returned again, for a refund. We were then told that we could not have a refund!
In the circumstances, this is appalling and the PRODUCT IS CLEARLY NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
It is not worth buying a cheaper substitute product and I would highly recommend the ipad2 - which we have never had any problems with!
The difference in the quality is massive and the ipad is user friendly too!
Do not waste your time on this product. It is not worth the 'apparent' cost saving, in terms of stress levels and wasting your time.
How can you expect a device that's less than half the price of an iPad to be of the same quality?
Faults happen, I've had to send my other branded tablet back three times for repair and that's supposed to be the same quality as an iPad if not better, don't hear me complaining at a free repair service.

We ordered 2 of these to use for work and home. They arrived promptly 2 days after ordering. Customer service team are excellent. All in original box although there is a label over the box to say 9.7" as the boxes all say 10". Joytab needed a few updates but these are easy to dowload from their website direct. Have downloaded games and it works fine. Most people can't tell the difference when we show them and for 1/4 of the price of leading branded tablets we would highly recommend a Joytab. Have recommended lots of friends and family to the website too.
