Linspire NVU

NVU ('N-view') is a fairly simple WYSIWYG HTML Editor with support for Javascript and CSS. You can lay out your page either by dragging elements and positioning them on the page, or by directly editing the HTML source, which is generated for you. This is not the ideal package for professionals, since it lacks many the features you would expect in a fully-fledged web editor, but NVU is a pretty solid tool for beginners, or for casual page editing. I no longer use this myself, but would probably recommend it for someone just starting out.
