Pinnacle Studio 9 AVDV

I went out and bought Pinnacle Studio 9, was a Studio 8 user for over a year. I specifically wanted a couple of the new features offered on 9, namely the audio noise clean up. I have some excellent footage that is half ruined by wind noise. I read their description over and over again and they seemed confident enough in their new features, and specifically described "get rid of wind noise." I thought, great, the wind noise on my recording is not that bad, but annoying enough to want to get rid of. I was very excited to get it home and installed, and once I did, tried it out with the audio clean up. What a lie, this does virtually nothing but make the audio sound as if you were in a cave, or under water. My wind noise was not that bad, and the thing did virtually nothing but make the audio far from human, even after messing with it for quite some time, it was still the same. I tried it on some small camcorder whine, another thing that they list as being able to get rid of with this feature, nothing but the underwater/cave sound again, and you can still hear the camcorder whine in the background, though it sounds a bit different. I am very disappointed with my purchase, and should just have stuck with 8. There are a few things that I will like to try out that are new, but now have little faith in their performance either. I really think that pinnacle is a very deceptive company in their marketing and claims. The auto color correct is bizarre also, unless you want to have a sci fi type feel to your colors. Also, the "fix shake in video" from shaky hand, etc... is rubbish also, all it does is zoom the view in on the original footage, and does little or nothing to eliminate shake. I feel ripped off. Not to mention that many of the features that supposedly come with the program require paying more money through their website to activate. Don't waste your money.
