PowerToys Power Shot for Xp.

This is an excellent piece of software and best of all it is free. Available from the Microsoft Website ( http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx at the bottom right of the page ).

Unsophisticated but effective it allows you to point your web-cam at whatever and take a picture at any interval you select. These are then saved into the file you have nominated. There are also versions for the dreaded Windows Vista and also Windows 7. My review is for the XP version but it is safe to assume each version works the same way. I installed it because I was curious as to who is stealing my cat's food every night but it could just as well be used as a security aid in any environment.
