Diamond Discovery Software - Prelude Professional

I started using Diamond's Prelude about two years ago - at first it was simply to produce invoices. I now use it to manage my customers and suppliers, etc.

I'm particularly impressed by the depth of the reporting - it creates management accounts with ease so I always know where I am. The VAT reporting is the most indepth I've seen.

I actually use the 'online' version of the software from home and office - it the same product whether installed or online.

I admit I'm a fan, but only because I love the detail Prelude will provide.

I was introduced to Diamond Prelude by my business advisor, who suggested it had all the functions I would ever need for a sensible price. The software was downloaded from www.diamond-discovery.com and had a 90 day trial - with no limits other than time.

I set up my accounts in about 20 minutes, added common stock items and began creating sales invoices easily. I just found it easy to use.

It's not pretty software, but it's seriously functional. I've created my first year end now and saved money with my accountant because the reporting does audit trails and helps with management accounts.

I would definately recommend it for people who are serious about their business finances.
