Acronis True Image Home 2010

Have you ever actually had a disk crash and tried to restore a backup to recover your machine? Well, this software is not the one to rely upon for that. Yes, it is easy to make backups. No, it is not easy to actually recover from a crash. The software does not do a good job of recovery and the manual does not identify the exact process to recover. Very poor product when put to the test.

I purchased this software when I started my on-line business, since I already had an FTP server I thought this would be the perfect way to automatically keep backups of my important documents, I was wrong...

The software its self is extremely buggy and the interface is clunky and slow to respond.

I have tried many times to add my FTP location to the scheduled backup only for the program to frustratingly crash every single time the location is added - contacting live support told me to update the drivers, I did so but the problem remains.

Local backups go extremely fast and work flawlessly, however this is useless if my computer crashes as I wont be able to access them.

Overall: not recommended for On-line Backups, Interface is clunky and slow to respond at times, support and help documentation are vague at best.

I will be looking into a refund.
